The Internal communication in Diakonie Českobratrské církve evangelické - Středisko sociální pomoci v Mostě

This Master's Thesis was conceived as a case study. It deals with the topic of internal communiation within an organization - in this case the "Diakonie Českobratrské církve evangelické - Středisko sociální pomoci" (The Center of Social Assistance under the Czech Evangelical Church) in Most. The first part focuses on general aspects of communication, the process of communication and its specifics. It also discusses particular elements of communication, such as its source, the message, the receiver of the message, the channels of communication, etc. Furhtermore, the case study describes the system of internal communication and the routes of communication within the organizational structure. The conclusion of the first part focuses on specific forms of communication in an organization, e.g. meetings, electronic mail, and such. The second part of this Master's Thesis summarizes a three-year process in Diakonia, which derived from the organization's diagnostics and subsequent defninition of the area of its internal communication, in which several measures were taken to increase the efficiency of communication. The case study conludes with the assesment of the effectivity of the implemented measures and determines recommendations for further advancement of the system of internal communication.
