1 ABSTRACT PHARMACY STUDENTS' QUALITY OF LIFE Student: Karolína Horáková Tutor: PharmDr. Jitka Pokladníková, Ph.D. Dept. of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University, Czech Republic Introduction: The quality of life of pharmacy students may change throughout their university life and differ from the quality of life of the general population. In the Czech Republic, quality of life of pharmacy students was not yet examined. Aim: The aim was to determine the quality of life of second year students at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Charles University in Hradec Králové. Secondary aim was to compare results of the Bern Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire with the short version of World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire and the Subjective quality of life analysis questionnaire. Methods: The data were collected during 2011. Questionnaires were filled in by second-year students of Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové. The Bern Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire, the short version of World Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire and the Subjective quality of life analysis questionnaire were used. Depressive symptoms in elderly people and their possible reduction in interaction with children

5 Abstract: This bachelor thesis is focused on depressives symptoms in elderhood and possible impact of interaction with children on these symptoms. The elderhood and its psychological characteristics are described in theoretical part. Afterwards the thesis describes depressives disorders in elderly, their prevalence, etiology and prognosis. In this part there is also one chapter about screening of depression in elderhood. A big part of this thesis is focused on protectives factors which can protect elderly people against depression and the most mentioned factor are social support and contacts with people. This information is followed by a chapter which deals with interaction with children and its benefits or possible risks during the interaction in intergenerational programs. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on some intergenerational programs. The outcome of the thesis is research proposal which would try to evaluate intergenerational programs which exist already in the Czech Republic and the research should answer the main question of this bachelor thesis if the interaction with children can reduce depressives symptoms in elderly people and/or protect the elderly against them.

Microscopic fungi in caves and other underground shelters

This Bachelor thesis is meant as a literature search concerned with diversity of microscopic fungi in caves, prospectively in underground spaces which were made by humankind. The caves represent unique environment for living organisms which is characteristic with specific microclimatic conditions and with deficient sources of nutrients. I have concentrated my focus to micromycetes which were isolated from sediments, atmosphere, dead insect and excrements in caves. The next part of my Bachelor thesis is aimed at species Geomyces destructans which causes so called white-nose syndrome illness - geomycosis on hibernating bats. It is an actual problem which interests scientists such as mycologists, zoologists and parasitologists.

A loan agreement with a special regard to German legislation

Závěr Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zpracování platné právní úpravy smlouvy o úvěru v české právní úpravě s přihlédnutím k německé právní úpravě. Účelem této práce nebyla právní komparace obou právních úprav, což by vzhledem k obsáhlosti tématu nebylo ani možné, ale bylo jím pouhé přihlédnutí k základním otázkám, které se smlouvou o úvěru souvisí. Jádrem této práce je platná právní úprava smlouvy o úvěru v české právní úpravě, včetně úpravy obchodních podmínek bank, s ohledem nejen na současné zákonné znění, ale i na znění vládního návrhu nového občanského zákoníku. Současná česká i německá právní úprava smlouvy o úvěru je převážně dispozitivního charakteru a je tak založena na zásadě smluvní volnosti, kterou je soukromé právo ovládáno. Jsem si vědoma toho, že česká právní úprava smlouvy o úvěru vykazuje určité nedostatky, ale i přes ně poskytuje dostatečně funkční a flexibilní podklad pro uzavírání smluv o úvěru. To potvrzuje i vládní návrh nového občanského zákoníku, který platnou právní úpravu smlouvy o úvěru až na drobné změny přebírá a mění pouze označení smluvních stran. Za problematické v současné právní úpravě smlouvy o úvěru považuji chybějící zákonné ustanovení, které by určovalo dobu, do kdy je dlužník povinen platit úroky z poskytnutých peněžních prostředků. Je tak třeba vycházet z názoru...
