Restoration and renaturation in the Klíšský Brook catchment
Holík, Jan ; Matoušková, Milada (advisor) ; Šobr, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor's thesis presents a revitalization and renaturation study of a small watercourse in rural area. Specifically, it is the Klíšský stream, which is a tributary of the Bílina River. Among the main goals of the bachelor thesis is the development of possible proposals for possible revitalization and renaturation measures with the aim of improving the hydromorphological quality of a small watercourse. During the development of the revitalization plans, a total of 18 cross-section profiles and one longitudinal profile were surveyed within the geodetic survey, in which specific revitalization measures were proposed. Within the evaluation of the characteristics of the study area, analyses of the granular composition of the sediment of the bottom were carried out, an evaluation of the property conditions was carried out and also flow monitoring was carried out during the periods of field surveys. In the revitalization modification proposals, the existing capacity in the targeted transverse profiles was also calculated. By synthesis of all the obtained and available information, proposals for measures to improve the overall condition of the water course were carried out, in the section the water surface in the form of a pool and wetlands in the area of the non-functional hydromelioration network...
Natural regeneration of Silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) in the National nature reserve Salajka
Holík, Jan
This study addressed the development of natural regeneration of tree species over the period 2009-2016 in a temperate fir-beech old-growth forest left to a spontaneous development since 1930s. The research site was located in the strictly protected National Nature Reserve Salajka, lying in the Western Carpathians mountain range. Ungulate game browsing, establishment and mortality of natural regeneration as the main drivers of species coexistence were studied, using two alternative sampling methods, permanent network of 98 inventory plots regularly positioned across the whole forest reserve and transect with 54 transect plots. Beech was found to secure gradually absolute dominance over other tree species in natural regeneration. The growth of fir, maple and spruce was hindered by browsing since the individuals rarely exceeded the height of 0.5 m. Further, the resource concentration effect was found in fir as browsing was more intense under high conspecific densities. Establishment and mortality of fir and beech differed, suggesting the species-specific life-history strategies. The results demonstrated the importance of regular and inextensive establishment of fir and huge but relatively less frequent establishment of beech. Mortality overweighed establishment in both species, though fir ratio tended to be almost balanced. The height of natural regeneration was revealed to be the only good predictor of mortality. Browsing, establishment and mortality of natural regeneration comprise an important part of forest regeneration processes and their role should be acknowledged by both forest and nature conservation management.
Didactic value of modifying forms of football
Holík, Jan ; Buzek, Mario (advisor) ; Zahálka, František (referee)
Name: Didactic values ofmodifying football forms The aim of the thesis: To compare domestic and foreign experience of different modifying football forms, to show pedagogic and didactic views ofthe game importance as a mean oflearning to the games skills. Afterwards to measure physicalload of chosen players at the age group U-10, U-ll during the games in the game formation 8 against 8 and ll against ll. Finally to compare chosen quantitative and qualitative parameters based on the videorecording. Metodology: We have used a comparative method for the comparison ofthe chosen football forms. We have gained certain quantitative and qualitative data (in the sence of individua! games skills, cohesiveness and participation) in the game formation 8 against 8 on the Y:z ofthe playground and ll against ll on the standard playground. Using an indirect observation we have analysed pre-determined parameters (time-frequency analysis) in both games based on the videorecording. Using IT we have evaluated the differences in the physicalload ofthe players which we haYe measured in the both football forms. Results: They compare in the quantitative and qualitative way the above mentioned modifying forms and the physicalload during both games. They can provide trend indicia, which could be used to improve the quality...
Dynamika přirozené obnovy dřevin v západních Karpatech se zaměřením na jedli bělokorou
Holík, Ján
This bachelor thesis addresses the developmental dynamics of natural regeneration in uneven-aged fir-beech forest in the Western Carpathians. The primary attention was paid to silver fir (Abies alba Mill.). One of the crucial reasons for writing this thesis was an attempt to contribute to the knowledge about long-term proportion decrease of silver fir with simultaneous increasing dominance of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) during the 20th century. Structure and species composition changes of natural regeneration were investigated within the measurement period 2009--2013. Research data was acquired with two inventory methods - the circular inventory plots and the line transect. Silver fir does not almost exceed a height of 0,5 m despite sufficient quantities of natural regeneration of initial stages. The damage caused by game is regarded as the most limiting factor. Natural regeneration is dominated by beech above a height of 0,15 m. The low rate of browsing does not prevent it from further development. The growth and the regeneration dynamics of trees is species-dependent, nevertheless, there is a decreasing tendency of natural regeneration quantities of all tree species up to 0,15 m in height since 2010.
Behaviour and dealnig like actor´s material (experiences of studies)
Holík, Jan ; Mrkvička, Ladislav (advisor) ; Šiktancová, Jaroslava (referee)
This work is engaged with actor´s behaviour and dealing with his performing and further on with actor´s experience, acquired during four years of his studies, which are closely connected with above mentioned actor´s work. Here I touch the pedegogical work of my professors and I´m engaged with thoughts connected with my studies at DAMU. Further on I parcticularly devote myself to the character of Rudolf in Koltes´s play ?Western Harbour? to our work in our last year. I try to formulate there with auto-reflection my proceedings along with my own actor´s work and I devote myself to the rise of the performance too.
