Modeling of Signal Propagation in Wireless LTE and WiFi Networks in Indoor Deployment

Masters thessis deals with the problematics of wireless signal propagation modeling inside buildings. The theoretical part of this thessis describes principles and methods of electromagnetic waves spreading in open areas and in indoor deployment. There are also described methods used for calculating the path of signal propagation ray-launching and ray-tracing. This part also includes description of an algorithm and equations used for simulating 5GHz WiFi signal propagation inside the Department of telecommunications corridors. Second part of this thessis includes a description of a NS-3 module mmWave, which was used for simulations of IEEE 802.11ad (WiGig) standard. There are also results of these simulations and their detailed description. At the end of this thessis comparison of these results with values gained by real environment measurements can be found.

Data Processing of Captured Radio Parameters in LTE-A System

Diploma thesis is focused on an analysis of radio conditions of indoor LTE-A mobile networks. Measurements of the Huawei LTE-A radio access network were performed using the R&S TSMW spectral analyser. Results have been processed and discussed. The practical part of diploma thesis also consists of a development of a program for processing the data sets obtained from R&S TSMW spectral analyzer.

Mobile applications for subjective measurement QoE of streaming video

This thesis is focused on the subjective measurement of the quality of experience on streaming video through a mobile application. After wide analysis of possibilities how to realize subjective measurement of quality of experience, the mobile and web application were created. These tools enable to obtain user ratings of streaming videos and then evaluate them. The user ratings are stored to the central database via secured REST API.

Jiří Hošek, DrSc., Department of Theoretical Physics, Nu- clear Physics Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Repub- lic Abstract: The primary aim of the thesis is to explore the possibility of spon- taneous symmetry breaking by strong Yukawa dynamics. Tech- nically, the symmetry is assumed to be broken by formation of symmetry-breaking parts of both the scalar and the fermion prop- agators, rather than by the scalar vacuum expectation values. The idea is first introduced on an example of a toy model with the underlying symmetry being an Abelian one and later applied to a realistic model of electroweak interaction. In addition, the thesis also deals with some more general, model-independent is- sues, applicable not only to the discussed model of strong Yukawa dynamics, but to a wider class of models with dynamical mass generation. First of these issues is the problem of fermion flavor mixing in the presence of fermion self-energies with a general mo- mentum dependence. Regime of Thunderstorm occurence in Slovakia

4 Abstract The subject matter of my thesis is the regime of thunderstorm occurrence in Slovakia. In the theoretic part of my work, I deal with thunderstorm categorization, condition of its creation and development and with side-effect phenomena. I also mention continentality of climate, which is linked with disintegration and occurrence of days of thunderstorms and thunderstorms. In the practical part, I focus on statistic analysis of number of days of thunderstorms and thunderstorms at the Irish meteorological station Valentia, which represents ocean climate and at 5 Slovak meteorological stations with continental climate in the period of 1961 - 2006 or 2007. I study the trend during years, months, seasons and number of thunderstorm phenomena at the stations, while comparing principles of oceanic and continental climate in the context of thunderstorms and days of thunderstorms occurrence. The main object of my thesis it to define thunderstorm season at each station by method of cumulative series designed by I. Sládek. Conventionally specified seasons do not always match reality. By this method, it is able to determine the natural beginning, end and duration of seasons according to selected climatological parameter. Sensing Device based on Windows 10 IoT Core

This bachelor thesis focuses on installation of system Windows 10 IoT Core on microcomputer Raspberry Pi 2 and creating AllJoyn application for measuring temperature, humidity and brightness via bluetooth interface. In theoretics part technologies like M2M (Machine To Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things) are described, actuall trends and the future and AllJoyn platform. There is also a comparsion of operating systems available for Raspberry Pi 2. Practical part focuses on the installation of system Windows 10 IoT Core on Raspberry Pi 2 board. It also deals with verification of the functionality of the system via testing aplication for temperature measurement via SPI interface and bluetooth. In practical part we joined the AllJoyn network and via this network we shared data from a Bluetooth sensor.
