Analýza výsledku reproducke českého strakatého skotu ve vybraném chovu
HEMROVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the bachelor thesis is mainly focused on an external impacts affecting reproduction in a cattle farm located in Vysočina district. The observed farm breeds dairy cows and the study is based only on Czech fleckvieh cattle reproduction in 2019 and in 2020. Each year was analyzed by average daily temprature. Those particular years where separately defined by numbers of the estruses and pregnancy successes within insemination. The literature part starts from history of Czech fleckvieh cattle to the reproduction of cattle and choosen external impacts to the cattle reproduction. Data used for the methodology part are available at the data system of ČHMÚ ČR. Reproduction data taken from a breeder database PLEMDAT s.r.o., when all daily avarage temperatures were splitted into six groups depending on the temperature. To the each group of the temperature was added amount of inseminations taken, pregnancy success within all inseminations in the herd, pregnancy success at the first insemination and pregnancy success at the second and higher insemination. The data was then analysed. The outcome showed impact of temprature with the result of the best temperature from 0° to 15°C.
Dynamics of species of fragmented dry grasslands at the landscape scale
Hemrová, Lucie ; Münzbergová, Zuzana (advisor) ; De Bello, Francesco (referee) ; Zelený, David (referee)
Past extensive changes in land use have resulted in fragmentation of species habitats. Changes in landscape structure have provoked discussion about the prospects of species of fragmented habitats in the future agricultural landscape. Landscape dynamics of plant species is basically a result of extinction and colonization rates. Many studies have confirmed the former expectation that a number of habitats suitable for a plant species in a landscape stay unoccupied. The differences in species distribution and proportion of suitable habitats occupied by a given species are hypothesized to be due to the area and isolation of suitable habitats and colonization and survival ability of a given species. To understand species dynamics in a changing landscape, first we have to reveal the relationships between the distribution of species and their proportion of occupied habitats, habitat age, habitat configuration and species colonization and survival ability. After the complete understanding of the determinants of species dynamics we will be able to predict reliably species prospect in the future. The very basic aim of this thesis was to reveal the determinants of landscape dynamics of dry grassland species in terms of their distribution and frequency in the landscape. The importance of correct identification...

Population dynamics of critically endangered species Dianthus arenarius subsp. bohemicus
Sejrková, Petra ; Dostálek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Hemrová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of this thesis is review studies on population dynamics of rare plant species considering regulation factors responsible for changes in population dynamics. It also includes usage of matrix models as a tool of demographic analysis. This information allows us to identify not only trends in population development, but it can help us to understand factors responsible for these changes as well. We also find out which part of the life cycle should be the target of conservation action. Further the thesis should garther information about critically endangered species Dianthus arenarius subsp. bohemicus, its habitat and management. Key words: population dynamics, Dianthus arenarius subsp. bohemicus, life cycle
Methods for studying seed dispersal and its importance for colonization of new sites
Vlasta, Tomáš ; Knappová, Jana (advisor) ; Hemrová, Lucie (referee)
Study of seed dispersal is crucial for understanding of several processes in life of plants and landscape. Seed dispesal is very important for persistence of local populations in fragmented landscape, it plays an important role in succession, it helps to protect plant populations againts loss of genetic variability. We usually recognize several types of seed dispersal depending on vector (dispersal by wind, animals and water.) In nature, it is very common that seed can be independently dispersed by several vectors. Therefore, studying of polychory and secondary dispersal is necessery. Methods of studying of seed dispersal are very variable, including seed traps, releasing and following individual seeds, genetics marcers etc. If we study seed dispersal, we should select the most suitable method depending on the aim of the study. We should also take into acount advantages and disadvantages of single method.
