Mental health problems related to suicidal behaviour in selected students of grammar schools in the Pilsen Region
Havránková, Kateřina ; Machovcová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Miroslava (referee)
This thesis was created with the primary aim of obtaining and writing the main and important information related to mental health problems related to suicidal behaviour from the perspective of selected girls who study grammar schools in the Pilsen Region. In the theoretical part, the first two chapters define general characteristics and main information related to health, mental health, mental illness and suicidal behaviour. Subsequently, the theoretical part is devoted to the direct application of lessons learned and the addition of important data following the age category of grammar school students in the thematic areas of mental health, mental illness and suicidal behaviour. In the practical part, using a qualitative method of semi-structured interview, research was carried out involving 9 selected female students from 8 grammar schools in the Pilsen Region aged 14-18, which focused on finding data from their own experiences and attitudes to mental health and suicidal behaviour, both in and outside the school environment. A detailed analysis of the interviews found that the value of mental health within the quality of life is extremely important for female students and that, according to the data, the pressure on outcomes from the family, the school environment associated with stress and...
Long-term foster care from the perspective of selected foster parents
Havránková, Kateřina ; Hanušová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Kučírek, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of long-term foster care in the Czech Republic, from the perspective of foster parents, who are an important part of the form of substitute family care. The work is classically divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the work defines the substitute family care, mainly foster care with a focus on the long-term type, and explains the important aspects and concepts related to the given care are explained. In practical part, we can find an outline of the research, which is aimed at interpreting the identified data, we got thanks to structured interviews created with selected foster parents and comparing them, including a subsequent summary of the main findings briefly recorded in the results of this work. The main objective of this research and overall my bachelor's thesis is to gather up-to-date information on the whole issue of long-term foster care, from the perspective of the actors of long-term foster care, more precisely foster parents. Relevant sources from book publications and internet sources of the issue were used to identify the necessary information during the whole cration of the work, including the mentioned structured interviews with selected foster parents. A montane evergreen broadleaf forest in Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park, Vietnam was selected for a future flux study based on a set of standard selection criteria applied to five protected areas in southern Vietnam. This pristine natural ecosystem within the park is important for its biodiversity conservation, supporting high levels of plant diversity and endemism and representing the Southern Annamites montane rain forests ecoregion. This paper describes general information about the site. Common foggy and calm wind periods can pose a challenge for eddy covariance measurements. Since March 2015, measurement of the horizontal wind regime at the site has begun to provide information on local prevailing wind directions and calm periods to aid in optimizing tower positioning within the site.
Flux footprints in different ecosystems
Macálková, Lenka ; Havránková, Kateřina ; Pavelka, Marian
Flux footprint is an upwind area where the atmospheric flux measured by an instrument is generated. Footprint size depends on measurement height, surface roughness, and atmospheric thermal stability. Our study focused on the flux footprints of four CzechGlobe ecosystem stations in a wetlands area, an agroecosystem, and young and mature spruce forests. Our aims were to prove that the sites were suitable for eddy covariance measurement and compare flux footprints under various atmospheric thermal conditions: stable, neutral, and unstable. Two computational models were used: the Kormann–Meixner (2001) and Kljun (2004)models. The outputs were processed graphically in site maps.
Atmospheric factors influencing net ecosystem production of Norway spruce forest in Beskydy Mountains

Daily net ecosystem production values of Norway spruce forest at Experimental Ecological Research Site Bílý Kříž in Beskydy Mountains were estimated using eddy covariance technique. Norway spruce forest uptakes CO2 from the atmosphere during production season. During production seasons 2005-2007 mean daily net ecosystem production was 22 kg C ha-1, and mean production season duration was 240 days. During production seasons there occurred days with respiration higher than assimilation, thus the forest was source of the atmospheric carbon. There were 45, 68 and 39 days in production seasons 2005, 2006 and 2007, respectively, when the forest was carbon source. It was caused by 1) significant decrease of air temperature and low intensity of PAR at the beginning and end of production seasons; 2) low radiation in overcast days and 3) long dry period with high intensity of direct radiation and high air temperature during production seasons.
Wind speed and wind direction measured at Experimental Ecological Study Site Bílý Kříž
Zvěřinová, Zuzana ; Havránková, Kateřina
This paper presents an analysis of the wind direction and wind speed measurements in and above young spruce forest stand in the locality Bílý Kříž in Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains, the Czech Republic. The values of the wind direction and wind speed were measured by the sonic anemometr, a component of eddy covariance system, during the vegetation seasons 1999-2001.

The result of water deficit in humus layer however caused significant decrease of heterotrophic respiration measured in extreme days.
