Havlíček, Václav ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Jaroš,, Josef (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis, I deal with 3D bioprinting for tissue engineering and analyze used materials and technologies that can be utilized for 3D bioprinting. The paper also includes a discussion of 3D bioprinting equipment and the current challenges of extrusion 3D bioprinting. In the practical part, a solution of a complex system for extrusion 3D bioprinting of low viscosity hydrogels is proposed using a hydraulic pump, a print head, and a cooling circuit.
Application of graphite in thermal management of microelectronics
Práce začíná vysvětlením současných metod chlazení a výzev v oblasti mikroelektroniky. Poté přechází k běžně používaným materiálům - hliníku a mědi a přidává do výběru i uhlíkové alotropie.
Diversity, ecology, and biotechnological potential of yeasts associated with bark beetles
Havlíček, Václav ; Kolařík, Miroslav (advisor) ; Novotný, David (referee)
Bark beetles (Coleoptera; Scolytinae) attack woody plants, which is why they are considered pests from a human perspective. They owe their evolutionary success, among other factors, to numerous symbioses with microorganisms, with fungi playing a significant role. The mycobiome of bark beetles is dominated by yeasts, which, nevertheless, are widely overlooked. Intestinal yeasts not only from Ips typographus but also from other species of bark beetles have potential for future biotechnological applications. The aim of this study was to examine their diversity and physiological activities, which will help clarify their ecological role and biotechnological potential. Collections were conducted in the Czech Republic from larvae of the spruce bark beetle Ips typographus and from various species of subcortical insects in Kenya. Yeasts were identified and taxonomically classified based on rDNA sequencing. A total of 133 yeast strains belonging to 37 species were identified, including 9 species that could not be identified and belong to previously undescribed species and in two cases also genera. Constitutional law questions of weapons ownership with a focus on the Czech Republic
Havlíček, Václav ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor) ; Hřebejk, Jiří (referee)
Constitutional law questions of weapons ownership with a focus on the Czech Republic Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the issue of ownership and disposal of weapons by civilians in the context of constitutional law with the aim of presenting the reader with a complex basis for understanding the individual institutes related to this topic. The primary focus of this thesis is the area of firearms disposal as a central point of the social debate on this issue. The thesis is divided into seven chapters, each of which is devoted to a different systematic unit. The first chapter is devoted to the definition of the term "weapon" by comparing the concept of this term across different branches of law and making a division of different types of weapons based on their partial characteristics. The second chapter will take the reader through the history of the legal regulation of weapons in our territory, which has been reflected in the current legal concept of weapons in the Czech Republic. Following this, the third chapter describes the current legal regulation of the handling of weapons by civilians in the Czech Republic, especially considering the events of the last two decades. In a separate subchapter, attention is paid to the recent incorporation of weapons into the constitutional order of the Czech...
Application Of Graphite In Thermal Management Of Microelectronics
Havlicek, Vaclav ; Vyroubal, Petr
This paper is shortly describing the possibility to improve the thermal management of microelectronics by implementing carbon-based materials, more exactly graphite foils. It explains current thermal challenges in the field of microelectronics and moves to commonly used materials, where it adds carbon allotropes into the scope, with a special focus on graphite foils. In the last part, this paper contains a use case of the pyrolytic graphite sheet in thermal management.
The role of microbial symbionts in the life cycle of Ips typographus
Havlíček, Václav ; Kolařík, Miroslav (advisor) ; Veselská, Tereza (referee)
Bark beetles (Coleoptera;Scolytinae) are usually considered as pests, because they attack trees in the protected and recreational forests and in the forests with economic importance. Their larvae develop under the bark, where it disturb the conductive tissues and affect the nutrient transport. Ips typographus attack Norway spruce (Picea abies). P. abies is an economic important woody plant. The life cycle of bark beetle is affected by its microbial symbionts in both positive and negative manner. Most of these organisms are facultative symbionts and they aren't completely depend on bark beetles. However, bark beetles are completely depend on its microbial symbionts. Symbiotic bacteria and fungus can be disseminated without bark beetles, but they are often spread by beetles. Microbial symbionts help overcome the defence mechanism of attacked trees, later they help with food digestion. Some fungi species can accumulate nitrogen in areas near the feeding chambers and improve ratio between carbon and nitrogen in plant tissue. Some bacteria are able to fix atmospheric nitrogen or use uric acid, helping with nitrogen recycling. Number of intestinal symbiont diversity increase in the course of host development. This symbionts are probably gained during feeding. The presence and prevalence of the...

Export of products of company EXPRES MENU Ltd. overseas
Sogelová, Marie ; Novák, Radek (advisor) ; Havlíček, Václav (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of exporting products of company EXPRES MENU to Canada and Australia, especially from the logistical and legislative aspects. This thesis should serve as a practical guide to prepare export of products containing meat to Australia and Canada. The observations are applicable for exports of goods stored and transported in room temperature (+1 to +30 °C) and for other Czech exporters as information about legislative restrictions and requirements for import of meat and meat product to these countries.
