Father present at the childbirth
Nováková, Jiřina ; Pavlíková, Pavla (advisor) ; Hanuš, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is of academic and empirical interest. It focuses on the father's presence at the childbirth. The work begins by theoretical part where the female and male role are defined. This chapter also describes physiology of pregnancy and course of physiological childbirth. Moreover it deals with theoretical father's preparation being able to be present at the birth. Research which comes after the theoretical chapter focuses on findings concerning which women have their partners persent at the birth considering - educational background, address locality, number of childbirths. Than I focused on the time when the pregnant women and their 9 partners decided to be at the childbirth together, whether they attended preparatory course etc. I was trying to find out how expectent mothers perceive their partners presence at the childbirth, what they expect from them, whether they came up to their expectations etc.

Architectural Space
Hanuš, Jiří ; Dvořák, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Bláha, Jaroslav (referee)
This work mainly describes inspiration about my several-years experience of my creation that is architectural space in two-dimensional picture. I try to show all the typical aspects more detail, which characterize it like a rhythm, light, space, shape and construction. I show this theme in various aspects of a past and present architecture and try to observe its evolution with the key historical periods. Mainly I focused on present trends, which are represented by connection of a material and inside and outside spaces.
Comparison of approaches to storing linked open data
Hanuš, Jiří ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is a detail description of current possibilities and ways of storing open data. It focuses on tools and database systems used for storing linked open data as well as on the selection of such systems for subsequent analysis and comparison. The practical part of the thesis then focuses on the comparison of selected systems based on a selected use case. This thesis introduces the fundamental terms and concepts concerning linked open data. Besides that, various approaches and formats for storing linked open data (namely file ori-ented approaches and database approaches) are analyzed. . The thesis also focuses on the RDF format and database systems. Ten triplestore database solutions (solutions for storing data in the RDF format) are introduced and described briefly. Out of these, three are cho-sen for a detailed analysis by which they are compared with one another and with a rela-tional database system. The core of the detail analysis lies in performance benchmarks. Ex-isting performance oriented benchmarks of triplestore systems are described and analyzed. In addition to that, the thesis introduces a newly developed benchmark as a collection of database queries. The benchmark is then used for the performance testing. The following systems have been tested: Apache Jena TDB/Fuseki, OpenLink Virtuoso, Oracle Spatial and Graph a Microsoft SQL Server. The main contribution of this thesis consists in a comprehensive presentation of current possibilities of storing linked open data.
Using of Piezo-material for Energy Harvesting from Vibration
Hanus, Jiří ; Dušek, Daniel (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
Master’s Thesis deals with obtaining electricity from the vibrations of the surrounding environment through piezoelectric vibration generator. To simulation piezoceramics and design mechanical parts of the generator was used simulation program ANSYS 10.0. First, parameters of the designed piezoelectric generator were numerically calculated, and then these values were compared with the real sample. Further work is in the description of material properties of piezo materials.
