Positional Motion Control by means of 8bit uP
Janda, Petr ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This thesis deals with positional control of DC motor Icla D065 of company SIG Positec Automation GmbH with aid of CAN-Bus and CANopen protocol. Individual parts describe general principle and standards of CAN-Bus and international normalized higher-level protocol CANopen for systems control. For control this motor was used microcontroller PIC18F4685 from company Microchip and developmental environment MPLAB® IDE. With used C language was made program for MCU control communication with a motor by support of CANopen protocol and its motion control. The result of this thesis will be used in solution of research project Intelligent Systems in Automation.
Model of Nonlinear System
Florian, Radim ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Ošmera, Pavel (advisor)
The Thesis provides the project and realization of non-linear system, consisting of direct electric motor and dynamo that are linked together with flexible connector. Firstly, there are decscribed the principles of turns control in direct motor. Secondly, the thesis shows the construction of operating panel with microcontroller PIC16F877. Finally, the last part brings the evaluation of mesurements and suggests various improvements of the operational panel.
Temperature Measurement with Microcontroller Aid
Harčár, František ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on possibilities how to use inexpensive microcontrollers for temperature measurement. The designed module is appropriate both for laboratory curriculum, as well as for application in automation industry. A brief introduction is followed by a general explanation of the notion „measurement“ and a measurement history overview. Afterwards, there is a focus on history and development of temperature measurement and types of applied sensors. Conseguently, there is the thesis itself , its description, principles, connection schneme and measurement methodology. Finally, the thesis regards its commitment and findings.
Svařování kovů a zkoušení svarů podle normy NTD - A. S. I.
HOLÝ, Miroslav
The aim of this diploma thesis was a general introduction to metal welding and testing of welds and possible defects that can arise during welding. The next part describes the individual possible weld joints on which follows a detailed overview of possible checks carried out on the welds made. It is a non-destructive and destructive testing, according to NTD Association A.S.I.

Intelligent Sensory Net designed on the standard IEEE 802.15.4
Janšta, Tomáš ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of wireless network nodes using modular construction parts with respect to IEEEŽ 802.15.4 standard. Presented platform joins the benefits of the XBeeŽ wireless module and the AVR ATmega128 microcontroller development system. Sensor network prototype is designed to meet the desired first attempt functionality of embedded platform for collection and delivery of small volumes of control and sensor data between the network and the gateway. The control software was developed for TinyOS operating system. Designed platform is used as the framework for future development and possible functionality extensions in related applications.
Multi level control omnidirectional robot
Pazdera, Miroslav ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The main focus of this diploma thesis is to design controlling system for robotic chassis moving on horizontal bolt nut of globular elements. This thesis includes analysis of movements of the chassis and definition of instructions for controlling level. Instructions for controlling level are compiled in constructed simulation programme. This thesis also contains design of electronic components and requirements for electronics of controlling subsystems.

Simulation of load tensile tests tractors.
HOLÝ, Miroslav
Work is dealing with issues of tensile testing of tractors and their methods. Teoretic part is consists of today's methods of service tensile testing overview and problems of tractors movements during driving on a contour. Practical part is dealing with proposal of mechanism for weight simulation, based on stopping winch and review of appropriateness this method.
