Výborná, Nela ; Kubicová, Ivanka (advisor) ; Gremlicová, Dorota (referee)
The theme of my bachelor´s work is "Eva Blažíčková and her pedagogical activities". I have chosen this personality because she has really influenced my pedagogical and artistic tendency noticeably for several years. Eva Blažíčková is one of pioneers of the Czech contemporary dance. Her philosophy is based on ideas of Isadora and Elizabeth Duncan and of course Jarmila Jeřábková too. During my studies at the Duncan Centre Conservatory I took thanks to Eva Blažíčková many interesting information and gained new stimuli for my further activities in the dance area. So I have tried to do a small research about creative meaning of Eva Blažíčková and her pedagogical activities at the Duncan Centre Conservatory.

My graduation thesis is based on the work and life of Conrad Drzewiecki, the person who wrote the history of dance and choreography in the second half of the twentieth century in Poland. He was one of the first post-war dancers, who performed both in and outside Poland. Drzewiecki was the founder and head of the Polish Theater Dance - Ballet Poznan and also teacher at the Poznan School of Ballet. He is famous for creation and development of a whole new dance style. For many years Drzewiecki represented Polish art in the country and abroad. This work is not a subjective look at the life and work of Conrad Drzewiecki, but just a small collection of historical and theoretical information.
The Profession of a Dancing Master in the 19th century Bohemia
Zilvarová, Daniela ; Gremlicová, Dorota (advisor) ; Kazárová, Helena (referee)
The thesis provides a brief survey of the profession of a dancing master in the 19th century Bohemia. Considering the wide territorial and temporal scope of the theme and difficult access to relevant sources the author's primary focus was Prague in the latter half of the 19th century. The thesis deals with demands an individual had to meet in order to become a dancing master. An analysis of the profession in terms of activities associated with it is provided too; not only a dancing master was a pedagogue, he often acted as a promoter of dances at dance fetes, as a choreographer and sometimes even as a composer. A special attention is given to the institution "Klub tanečních mistrů v království Českém", unifying dancing masters at the end of the 19th century. The author also deals with questions and origin of usage of significant titles of dancing masters (Provincial, Estates). A brief outline of the impact of women on the profession of a dancing master is provided too.

It focuses on productions fundamental for Czech ballet ? ballet pantomime by Oskar Nedbal and scenic implementation of Slavonic dances by Antonín Dvořák. Ballets of Pjotr Iljitsch Tchaikovsky in Neumeier's version
Pollertová, Adéla ; Kazárová, Helena (advisor) ; Gremlicová, Dorota (referee)
Bachellor thesis ?Ballet of Pjotr Iljitch Tchaikovsky in Neumeier?s version? gives overview on the work of the choreographer, director and artistic director of Hamburg´s Ballet John Neumeier on the classical ballet jewels. The Nutcracker, Swan lake and Sleeping beauty are for sure the most well known, visited and popular titles most of the theatres with classical repertoire. John Neumeier manage to give a new face to those ballets and maybe that is why they are closer to the audience of today. He left the spirit of the old times and added the human side, unordinary commonness and the theme such is the same for all those three ballets ? love in each way. Comparing of the first versions and the Neumeier´s will hopefully helps with the better orientation in Tchaikovsky?s ballets from the seventies of the 20. century.

Choreographic thinking of the contemporary Czech dance authors
Veselá, Jitka ; Gremlicová, Dorota (advisor) ; Ondrašíková, Věra (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on choreographic way of thinking of the contemporary Czech dance authors. I asked seven choreographers who were working in Prague during my research. I spoke to Mirka Eliášová, Dora Hoštová, Jan Kodet, Jan Komárek, Tereza Ondrová (VerTeDance), Lenka Ottová, and Tomáš Rychetský. I prepared a range of questions. According to these questions I wanted to find out the way of their thinking, how do they think and work. I also wanted to find out what is different and what is the same in each choreographer´s working style. The extent of interviews is different because it depended on their willingness to cooperate. Main sources for my Bachelor thesis were interviews I made with choreograprehers, their choreographic works I saw on TV (which were available) and information I read on the internet. Bachelor thesis is divided into four parts. First is commentary to research, ensue main research, other contains interviews with choreographers´curriculum vitaes and the last is conclusion. The text also includes appedix containing all questions I used which is located at the end of the bachelor thesis.
