Strange functions in mathematical analysis
Frantál, Jiří ; Rmoutil, Martin (advisor) ; Staněk, Jakub (referee)
This work contains a collection of strange functions that, with their properties, break the school intuition of students in some way. In the first part of this work, an analysis of the available teaching materials (textbooks, summary collections and educational videos) is carried out. The results of this analysis are subsequently a guide for the selection of specific functions in the second part. Functions are divided into three groups according to whether their properties contradict the intuition of continuity, derivative or integral. Important part of the work are graphs of the functions drawn by the Wolfram Mathematica.
Didactic graph visualisation
Frantál, Jiří ; Pergel, Martin (advisor) ; Holan, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with the design of programming language specialized in visu- alisation of graph algorithms, creating its interpreter and integrated development environment. The aim was to make the created program usable for education of graph algorithms and their implementation, especially at high school. Based on didactic knowledge, we designed language similar to Pascal, but adapted for the needs of graph algorithms. Part of the thesis is also brief introduction to inter- preters and several exemplary graphs and algorithms ilustrating work with our program. 1
