This project is a prototype of a database-driven website with user-editable content The Lucy Collective – Women Of History. This site will collect information about historical women and links to sources related to them, and serve as a "first-step" resource for educators, creators, and other people interested in the topic. The prototype's main goal is to present the intended structure, useability, and design of the final website, and serve as a basis for building the final working version.

My Code/World is a personal artistic research of the environment in which I work as a programmer - not a physical environment, but the virtual environment of a computer interface. This research has been taking place since roughly October 2016 and its result is a collection of loosely connected pieces (sketches, experiments), that will be presented as an installation within the studio space of the Studio Graphic Design 2, Faculty of Fine Arts, BUT.

Barriers to effective coaching in organization

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of coaching in organizations, respectively the topic of barriers to coaching in organizations that prevent its effectiveness. Firstly, the attention is paid to the definition of coaching, its basic principles, forms and specifics to other developmental methods. Further described is the use of coaching in organizations, the reasons for its implementation, its benefits and most of all the barriers that may occur. Text is based on the specialized literature and the data from qualitative research. The focus is on the perspectives of the parties that participate in the coaching process - guarantors of coaching, coaches and coachees and how these actors perceive the potential barriers to coaching, not only during the coaching process, but even before its initiation and after its completion. Adaptation of Workers in Organizations

The subject of submitted bachelor thesis is an area of workers adaptation within the organization. The main objective of this thesis is to point out the importance of adaptation of workers in organizations for workers and for the organization. This thesis defines the term adaptation and describes it from several points of view. It also deals with factors which affect the adaptation of workers. Further it discusses notions work adaptation and social adaptation, their exact definitions and partitions. This thesis describes the adaptation process of new employees, it shows some possibilities of its managing and monitoring. It also puts the stress on the meaning and the roles of people involved in the adaptation of workers. It doesn't even miss out the potential consequences of uncontrolled adaptation and possible risks and problems, which can result from that, not only for the new employee, but for organization as well.
