The master´s thesis concentrates on a project of condensing steam turbine for existing heating plant with back pressure turbine. The master´s thesis subject consists in the thermodynamic calculation of regulating stage and turbine stages. Design documentation is worked up according to the calculated record. From calculated power of turbine is worked a basic project of gearbox and disposal arrangement system.

The aim of thesis entitled steam turbine is a condensing steam turbine with steam extraction, in twin-shaft implementation for municipal waste-incineration plant. The first part of the work is focused on the design used and the selected concept turbine. The second part is engaged in thermodynamic calculation of backpressure and condensing part. The end is devoted to technical – economic comparison with other possible conceptual variants.
Aerodynamic design of wind turbine

This Master’s thesis focuses on the wind turbines. It describes the basic attributes of the wind energy and the wind potential of Slovak Republic, as well as the environmental impact of this sector. Meteorological data for the selected location are processed according to the Weibull distribution and they are used for the aerodynamic design of the wind turbine blades. Aerodynamic design is processed by using two methods. The first is the blade cascade theory, which is used to design prismatic and twist blades. The second method is called the blade element momentum, which is used to design wind turbine but only twist blades are designed by using this theory. Calculated aerodynamic shapes are compared and the best economic solution for the selected location is chosen.
Double Casing Condensing Steam Turbine

This thesis is focused on calculation of double casing condensing steam turbine with capacity 200 MW for petrochemical industry´s consumptions. Engine is projected for gas-steam cycle. It has one controlled extraction points placed between two bodies, two uncontrolled extraction points and axial output to air-cooling condenser. Balance scheme was made for 100% operation. Detail design is made only for ST/NT casing and it includes calculation of flowing part, selection of blade´s profile and its stress control. Rotor is checked for critical speed, safety rigid coupling is calculated and according to reaction forces journal bearing are designed. In the end regulation of turbo-set is discussed more precisely and there are calculation of temperature and pressure in uncontrolled extraction points during 80% and 60% operation. Thesis was written out according to Doosan Skoda Power´s instruction and with their cooperation.

The goal of this thesis is examination of automatic controller in various operating modes on fireplace inlay Venus 12.1.W. The work compares few measurement, always with measurment without automatic controller In this measurements are evaluated the emissions of CO, CO2, oxygen content in the flue duct gasses and the temperature in the flue duct are listed here and the efficiency is calculated for different operating modes. Conclusion contains overall summary of this thesis. At the end there is a search of manufacturers not only in Czech Republic
Backpressure Steam turbine

The Diploma Thesis deals with a design of a backpressure turbine without any bleeds. The fundament of the Diploma Thesis is a thermodynamical calculation of particular parts of the turbine. Technical solutions are designed according to given details of a steam and chosen conditions of use.
Thermal cycles optimization

The main goal of the thesis was a selection of appropriate thermal cycles for the considerated nuclear power stations with the Generation IV reactors. Characterization and specification of the parametres of the Brayton and the Rankine-Clausi thermodynamic cycle, their optimalization with regard to the parametres of the first cycle was made, than analysis of cycles´properties, mostly efficiency, output and process layout.

Biomass Heating Power Plant

The content of this dissertation is to utilize foundations of heat consumption in Velký Karlov and to propose and replace the main district heating plant into the heating plant which uses biomass as its fuel. With techno-economic evaluation of the annual operating central heating plant evaluate the suitability of using a steam turbine or steam engine. The proposal for a steam turbine is chosen by the preliminary calculation. There are showed suitable possibilities of working and its evaluation considered to return period.
Cogeneration Unit

V diplomové práci je krok po kroce vypracováno řešení zabezpečení energetického zdroje pro typické město v Sibiřské oblasti. Data, která tvoří zadání, byla získána od zákazníka pomocí dotazníku, protože pro nás oblast v čase vypracování nebyla dostupná. Na základě informací o aktuální energetické situaci, obyvatelstvu a dřevospracujícímu průmyslu je vybrána vhodná technologie pro zabezpečení tepla a elektrické energie. Druh zdroje byl vybrán dle dostupného paliva a následně byl proveden výpočet a design en- ergetického zdoje založeného na Rankine Clausiovém cyklu. Řešení obsahuje technický i ekonomický návrh. Technické řešení ukázalo, že nejdůležitější parametry jsou spolehlivost, bezpečnost a jednoduchost řešení. Design sítí, přídavných zařízení a plánování údržby není obsahem této práce. O dalších projektových krocích pojednává závěr.
