Basic Firearms Training for The Police of the Czech Republic

Title: Basic Firearms Training for The Police of the Czech Republic Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to elaborate on basic firearms and shooting technique training within the scope of the basic training course of the Police of the Czech Republic. Methods: The fundamental methods used in the thesis are the data collection method, applied not only for studying literature, but also in the subsequent selection of professional experience and knowledge. Another method is the analysis method, used for expert evaluation, verification, the quantitative, material, as well as interpretative and comparative analysis. Another basic scientific method is applied, for the purpose of describing basic methodological and tactical procedures and also creating a set of preparatory training sessions. The method is referred to as information synthesis. Results: The output of the thesis is creating a complex view of the issue concerning firearms training for the Police of the Czech Republic according to today's methodology, tasks and objectives laid on this education course. Analysis of diving locations in north-eastern Bohemia and creation of a web application

Title: Analysis of diving locations in north-eastern Bohemia and creation of a web application Objective: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to create an open web application of diving sites situated in north-eastern Bohemia, using the map software called Mapotic. Operation goal is creating a description of the areas themselves from a diver's point of view, cultural-historical or geographical-bathymetric description. Methods: Study of current and historical sources of the issue, a survey for different locations. After analysing the information of the locations, the method of summarizing key data was used to create a web application of diving areas. In order to create high-quality bathymetric maps - the consultations with map experts also took place. Results: There are clear documents of individual areas and an online open web application mapping selected diving locations in north-eastern Bohemia. Title: Project of crisis preparedness for an epidemic in the home for elderly. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out how the social services workers had been prepared for the COVID-19 epidemic based on their own experience. Methods: The questionare was created for this research. The respondents had the choice of several options in the multiple-choice questions ,which was given by the type of research question. For several questions respondents had the opportunity to extend the question with their own answer. The scale from 1 to 10 was used for answering to two questions and the scale from 1 to 5 was used for one question. Results: The result of this bachelor thesis is findings that at the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic social workers had not been prepared for this situation. The next waves of COVID-19 epidemic have highlighted the areas of the contingency plan that the social workers need to focus on in order to be better prepared for epidemic like COVID-19. Musculoskeletal problems of scuba divers

Title: Musculoskeletal problems of scuba divers Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the most common musculoskeletal problems of scuba divers. Methods: The work uses the method of research of the current state of research and quantitative research through an anonymous survey. Results: The most common musculoskeletal problems of scuba divers in the Czech Republic over the age of 18, out of a sample of 113 participants, are back pain in 43.4% (49) of respondents. Furthermore, 23% (26 respondents) report pain in the cervical spine during or after the dive, 20.4% (23 respondents) confirm temporomandibular joint pain in connection with diving and 13.3% of participants in the survey (15 respondents) report back pain in shoulder blade areas. Analysis of ice and water rescue statistics.

Title: Analysis of ice and water rescue statistics. Objectives: The aim is to describe the work of rescuers during rescue operations on ice and water, to describe the watercourses and water areas freezing process, to describe hydrology of watercourses and water areas, to inform about the numbers of ice and water rescue interventions in past years and in each of Czech republic's regions and to determine a time series data tendency of ice and water rescue statistics - to predict whether the rescue interventions numbers will increase or decrease in the years to come. Methods: Literature and study sources research and their further summarization, ice and water rescue statistics analysis by determining the time series data tendency (trends) by calculating linear regression parameters of these statistics, tendencies visualization using graphs and heatmaps. Results: According to data analysis of years 2006 - 2021, water and ice rescue numbers will be decreasing in the future. On the other hand data analysis of years 2014 - 2021 predict an increase in these numbers. The conclusion is that the ice and water rescue numbers will be increasing in the future, although the numbers will not be as high as of past years of 2006 - 2014.
