CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN CZECHIA: SPATIAL ASPECTS AND IMPORTANCE TO REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The thesis deals with the topic of corporate social responsibility emphasizing especially its spatial aspects and the impact on regional development. It aims to discover the spatial pattern of the so-called socially responsible firm activities in Czechia including the motivations for choosing this pattern, and to assess the importance of these activities for regional development. Particularly, it aims to present the concept of corporate social responsibility from a geographical point of view. The empirical research using the case of Czechia is structured into two phases. The first phase, based on an extensive research of internet-based sources and a questionnaire survey among selected corporations, explores the institutional context of corporate social responsibility in Czechia and follows the activities of particular firms including their spatial strategies. The second phase, using intensive research in two Czech micro- regions (Broumovsko and Červenokostelecko), particularly in-depth interviews with representatives of selected firms, provides deeper insight into the topic, reveals the motivations of firm behavior regarding social responsibility and sheds light upon the importance of these activities for development of the respective region. Coordinate System Conversion Options for Web Application

The aim of this work is to find and compare tools and libraries for conversion of coordinates between Coordinate System WGS84, S-JTSK, UTM zone 33N and Pseudo-Mercator, which could be used in Web Application. Found options are then tested with focus on speed and accuracy of conversion. The main result of this work is list of usable possibilities for coordinate system conversion including comparison of performance and accuracy and its advantages and disadvantages.

Marketing Strategy of Emerging Floorball Academy

This master´s thesis is focused on marketing strategy and consequent formation of the proposal of the marketing strategy for emerging Floorball Academy. Base data for the new marketing strategy are gained from theoretical knowledge, from chosen methods of primary research and from analysis of micro environment, macro environment and SWOT analysis. Particular components of marketing strategy are proposed on the base of data processing and their evaluating. This marketing strategy is prerequest for sucessful entry and operation of Floorball Academy on the market.

Valuation of Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the value of company Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a.s. for owners using the income approach at the date of 31st December 2013. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the methods and procedures of valuation. The practical part consists of the company profile, strategic analysis, financial analysis, financial plan and the final valuation of the company. Analysis of the previous development of the company is conducted for the period 2009 - 2013. The financial plan was drawn up for the period 2014 - 2018. Company was valued using discounted cash flow method in the variant of free cash flow to the firm. At the end of the thesis there was carried out valuation by the book value method for purposes of comparison with the valuation made by discounted cash flow method.
