The most common boxing injuries, possibilities of prevention and follow-up physiotherapy care

Title: The Most Common Boxing Injuries, Possibilities of Prevention and Follow-up Physiotherapy Objectives: The main objective of this master thesis is to ascertain the most common injuries among amateur and professional boxers in the Czech Republic. Another objective is to evaluate, if the boxers practice any form of regeneration and whether they use physiotherapy as a prevention tool to the occuring injuries. Methods: Theoretic information in this thesis was obtained via research of available Czech and foreign literature. Second part of the thesis was done with a created non- standardized questionnaire, which was distributed online among boxers in the Czech Republic. Boxers were asked about their suffered injuries, regeneration and possibilities of physiotherapy. Conclusions were done after a statsitical analysis of the data. Results: 120 boxers (male and female) participated in this research (aged 18 - 40). The most common injury in training in amateurs and professionals were hand contusions (41 % and 65 % respectively). During sparring the most common injuries were others (36 %) and hand contusions (33 %) in amateurs and head lacertations (75 %) in professionals. The specifics of nursing care in a stroke patient in the context of acute care

Acute care for patients with a stroke is constantly changing and developing to the best possible outcome of the health status of patients who have suffered. The patient is often affected suddenly and in full health. This work is focused on the specifics of acute care for a patient with a stroke in context of acute care. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis contains basic information about stroke and the specifics of nursing care for patients with this desease. In the empirical part, the aim of the work was set, namely to map the specifics of nursing care for patients with stroke from the point of view of acute care. We decided on a qualitative form of research to satisfy the aim of the work. A combinations of semi - structured interview method and participatory covert observation was used to collect data. As a research group, we chose general, university-educated nurses and specialized nurses who work in hospital facilities. The interview and half of the covert observation were attended by general nurses who work in the anaesthesiology and resuscitation department, under which the cerebrovascular center is also provided. In the second half of the observations of patients moving to the intermediate bed of the neurolog department, where the following care was provided by other nurses. Data collection for the empirical part of the bachelor's thesis took place in February, then at the turn of April amd May after the end of the state of emergency in the Czech Republic. The results of the research show the role of general nurse, who treats patients with stroke in the acute and postacute phase, as well as the specifics of pre - hospital care in these patients. The use of the mentioned research methods helped us to compare the information provided by the interview nurses and the actions they took during the observation.
Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of Left Total Knee Replacement

Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total endoprothesis of the knee joint Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to process a case study of a patient with total endoprothesis of his left knee joint. The case study is based on the theroretical information described in the first part of this thesis. Methods: The case study of particular pacient consists of complex kinesiologic examination at the begining and in the end as well, furthermore, it consists of short-term and long-term physiotherapeutical plan and eight therapeutic units. Finally there is an evaluation of the effects of the therapy. The case study itself was made during practise in the Military Hospital in Prague from 21st January 2020 to 30th January 2020. Results: Patient's range of motion (knee flexion) improved. Muscle strength of hip flexors and knee extensors improved as well.
