Development of AJAX Web Components in ExtJS
Dytrych, Jaroslav ; Schwarz, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of the page layout manager for a web user interface composed of components. A part of solution is also a new XML format for configuring of the manager of page layout and composition and a new application interface for components. The created system has met the requirements of the European project KiWi and has passed the acceptance tests of its project team.
Annotation Fragments Searching and Updates
Kubík, Lukáš ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis analyzes annotation server algorithms for searching and updating annotation fragments. The annotation server is a part of the project Decipher. Analyzed algorithms are improved and replaced by newly designed algorithms in this project. A part of this project also designs a new algorithm for measuring how much is an annotation affected after updating the document.
Automatic Support of Documentation of Projects
Vosáhlo, Daniel ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a program which will automatically create selected level of documentation from an information system for supporting science and research and enables user intervention. I solved the selected problem with creating a program in the PHP language which uses a private MediaWIKi which belongs to the KNOT research group and creates special headers on certain pages. In this work I created a detailed proposal of the procedure that generates and checks these headers and it can tell apart user text and work with him. According to this design, I implemented a program that serves as a platform and its functionality can be expanded by modules. The program periodically checks the information in the information system, as well as the contents of the headers, if the user did not manually change the content and if nothing else changed in the header, these headers can be skipped. This shortened the program running time more than twice, and has made it easy to add new functionalities. This solution prevents the loss of user data, greatly speeds up the control of the entire documentation and makes it more efficient.
BUT IS Modules for Final Theses and State Final Exams
Bártl, Roman ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement BUT IS modules for project practise, final theses and state final exams within the transition of the Faculty of Information Technology to this system. Part of the work is to design new access rights, including parameterization to modify the behavior of modules. Rights and parametrization will be set in the Apollo information system. The PHP Framework Zend will be used for implementation. Modules will be used by faculty staff to create topics, accept students, etc., as well as by students themselves to display a list of thesis which they can apply for.
Semantic Annotation of Text
Dytrych, Jaroslav ; Svátek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Šaloun, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with intelligent systems for support of the semantic annotation of text. It discusses the motivation for creation of such systems and state of the art in the areas of their usage. The thesis also describes newly proposed and realised annotation system which realizes advanced functions of semantic filtering and presentation of annotation suggestion alternatives in a unique way. The results of finished experiments clearly show the advantages of proposed solution. They also prove that the user interface of the annotation tools affects the annotation process. The optimisation of displayed information for the task of disambiguation of ambiguous entity names was done and proposed methods to speedup and increase of quality of the created annotations was experimentally evaluated. The comparison with the Protégé general tool has proven the benefits of created system for collaborative ontology creation which should be anchored in the text. In the conclusion, all achieved results are analysed and summarized.
Application for Parallel Data Processing Control
Grepl, Filip ; Smrž, Pavel (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with the design and implementation of a system for parallel execution of tasks in the Knowledge Technology Research Group. The goal is to create a web application that allows to control their processing and monitor runs of these tasks including the use of system resources. The work first analyzes the current method of parallel data processing and the shortcomings of this solution. Then the work describes the existing tools including the problems that their test deployment revealed. Based on this knowledge, the requirements for a new application are defined and the design of the entire system is created. After that the selected parts of implementation and the way of the whole system testing is described together with the comparison of the efficiency with the original system.
Reservation System for Events of Non-profit Organizations
Černý, Patrik ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing the reservation system for "Českomoravská federace naturistů" association. Its purpose is to design, implement and document a newly created system which should be able to record membership fees and organizing of events. This thesis also describes how members should sign up for events or activities and pay deposits for them.
Planning and Reporting Work in the KNOTIS Information System
Fiedler, Karel ; Smrž, Pavel (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is creation of new module for planning and reporting work in the information system KNOTIS and editation of another pages related with this module. New module compared to old one will support planning for individual projects and prioritization of important projects as a bachelor's thesis. Reward payment is extended by the possibility to calculate the amount according to salary and hours and also supports pre-filling of the salary of the new reward payment. For work plans, the maximum weekly workload can be set according to the period.
Annotation Editor for CMS
Macháček, Jakub ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis analyzes possible ways to create extensions of WYSIWYG editors and the issue of annotating electronic material. It also includes design and implementation of an annotation editor basis which will be, due to its wide possibilities, usable to create advanced annotations of documents. Part of the work is also to design a protocol to communicate with a server.
Parallel and Distributed Processing of Large Textual Data
Matoušek, Martin ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with task scheduling and allocation of resources in parallel and distributed enviroment. Thesis subscribes design and implementation of application for executeing of data processing with optimal resources usage.
