Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of pharmaceutical technology Author: Dvořáková Pavlína Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Berka Title of Diploma Thesis: Permeation of nanoparticles across sublingual membrane 2 In theoretical part of this work, the anatomy and physiology of oral cavity and tongue, sublingual application of active substances, nanoparticles are reviewed. Instruments used for measurements are also described. In the following experimental part, the permeation of Chromeon 470 marked nanoparticles through porcine sublingual membrane into buffer pH 7,4 (acceptor phase) in vitro was evaluated. Sublingual membrane with surface 1 cm2 was saturated by buffer pH 6,6. During the first experiment, frozen sublingual membrane (19. 1. 2011) was used. It was thawed out just before the experiment (7. 9. 2011). In the case of the second experiment, fresh sublingual membrane, which was shortly immersed in the physiological solution, was used (14. 9. 2011). Nanoparticles permeated better through a long-time frozen porcine membranes than through freshly cut up membranes. The nanoparticles permeated better from diluted samples than from non-diluted samples. Keywords: Anatomy and physiology of oral cavity and tongue, nanoparticles, Chromeon 470, sublingual application,...
Problematika endoparazitóz u koní v chovech na Brněnsku
Dvořáková, Pavlína
The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the issue of endoparasitosis in horses in breeding in Brno and its surroundings. From November 2015 to January 2017, four stables with different numbers of horses with their different dispositions (age, sex, horse performance) were monitored. In total, 30 horses were observed and 450 samples of equine faeces were collected and analyzed. Samples were analyzed using flotation methods using the Breza solution. It was found that 82 % of the samples were infected with 0-5 eggs of Strongylidae parasites. The work has shown that the number of parasites egg negatively affect the horse health. The resistance of parasites to deworming products was not proven.
Permeation of nanoparticles through sublingual membrane 3
Dvořáková, Pavlína ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor) ; Kováčik, Andrej (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of pharmaceutical technology Candidate: Mgr. Dvořáková Pavlína Consultant: doc. RNDr. Pavel Doležal, CSc. Title of Thesis: Permeation of nanoparticles through sublingual membrane 3. In the theoretical part, attention was paid to the entry of drugs into the body by the sublingual route, description of the oral cavity (mucosa, epithelium, mucus, saliva, MCGs), OCCAT model, and basic concepts of bioimpedance. In the experimental part, the hydrodynamic size of the PD-Chromeon 470 nanoparticles was verified by the DLS method. In the environment of water, even two buffers pH 6.8 and 7.4 according to Sörensen, practically identical results were obtained at the level of 40 nm. Buffers were used as donor, resp. acceptor phase in vitro permeation experiments. The experiments included measurement of impedances of differently processed and stored sublingual membranes from pig tongue. To test the penetration of nanoparticles through these model mucosal barriers, nanoparticles were applied in a concentrated (500 µg / ml), diluted (1: 4) dispersion. The lowest impedance had the sodium azide-preserved membranes, which were frozen at -18 ř C for a long time. These also showed the highest in vitro permeation values of nanoparticles. Rapid...
The concept of Snoezelen-MSE in the treatment of anorexia nervosa
Dvořáková, Pavlína ; Holanová, Petra (advisor) ; Pucholtová, Romana (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the therapeutical effect of the Snoezelen multi-sensory room in the treatment of a subgroup of female patients suffering from anorexia nervosa. Because of their significant underweight and malnutrition, these patients exhibit significant impairment of cognitive functions, lower ability to solve problems, deformed interests and attention and memory problems as well. However, some of these can be renewed. This thesis explores the impact of Snoezelen-MSE concept-based therapy on the recovery of these patients. The thesis aims to find out how the patients themselves perceive the effects of their therapy in a Snoezelen-MSE room. This room was involved in the treatment programme of a specialised eating disorders treatment centre in 2017, as a modern method of brain neuroplasticity development. The research method is a semi-structured interview with female patients hospitalised in a ward specialised in eating disorders treatment, who suffer from anorexia nervosa with BMI (body mass index) lower than 16. The research shall be approved by the ethical commission. The participants shall be approached in the final stage of their treatment, their participation being completely voluntary. The patients shall have the right to refuse the interview without any consequences and they...
Problems of novice teachers

Reinventory of woody plants in Libosad CULS area
Dvořáková, Pavlína ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Broscheová, Lucie (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with an inventory and reinventory of woody plants in Libosad on Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague campus. One part of the inventory is entering woody plants inventoried in the digitized maps in AutoCad and create tables. Another part of my work is a photo documentation of the trees and also downloading the photos on mapserver.cz. The literature review discusses the green vegetation, its functions and importance, compares the differences between botanical gardens, arboretum and school gardens. In the part, dealing with materials and methods, is written about the Czech University of Life Sciences campus and Libosad, its history and natural conditions. There is also described the method of woody plants inventory according to Machovec (1982), which was selected in my own reinventory. Data for the updating inventory maps and tables were obtained by older students. Firstly, it was necessary to update plan of the areas in the places where changes were done. Secondly, were inventoryed newly planted trees and shrubs, that were included to map and tables. Finally, was done the control of the overall conditions of the area, compared with map's data, ie. removing the dead trees from the map, checking inventory data, especially about fast-growing trees, dominant trees, trees with considerably good or conversely poor health. The results show that currently in the arboretum Libosad located 1505 peaces of inventoried trees, shurbs and groups of woody plants and 349 groups of perennial vegetation. The number of taxa is about 1000 species of woody plants and their cultivars and 300 varieties and cultivars of perennials and grasses. In total, in the arboretum is 350 woody plants species represented in 105 genera. In landscape value of the trees and shurbs condition dominates the 3rd classification group, then 2, 4 and 1.
