Multiparametric segmentation of MR images
Chovanec, Ján ; Šmirg, Ondřej (referee) ; Dvořák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was familiarity of segmentation methods for automatic segmentation of MR images, using multiparametrical display. The theoretical part focuses on the description of methods of segmentation techniques. In the practical part are implemented K-means and level-set method. The methods are tested on the images of the brain obtained by different sequences (T1, T1c, T2, FLAIR). Segmentation methods are implemented in the program MATLAB. Implemented segmentation accuracy is demonstrated on data which there are reports reference results. Evaluation methods is performed using different classifiers decision. The K-means method is tested different metrics and different combinations of the input image. Finally, both methods are compared with one another and visually evaluated against the reference image.

Korčuška, Robert ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis contains basic theoretical information about SVM-based image segmentation and data classification. Basic information about 3D Slicer software are presented. Aspects of medical images segmentation are described. Workplan and implemetation of SVM method for MRI segmentation in 3D Slicer sofware as extension module is created. SVM method is compared with simple segmentation algorithms included in 3D Slicer. Quality of segmentation, based on SVM, tested on real subjects is experimentaly demonstrated.
Seqence circuit for radioamateur transciever
Dvořák, Pavel ; Šnajdr, Václav (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
In this paper we will deal involving short-wave radio station and its control by the sequencer. Mostly it will be a time delay of the PA and the antenna switching relay in the transmitter (TX) to receiver (RX) side. Time delays will be controlled programmatically using ATmega 16 microprocessor, which will form part of the main control sequencer. The delay will set the total time of keying in messages, when we take into account the loss due to delayed first symbol. Keying will be done from several sources, among the main sources will be ordered from keying the radio, telegraph keys, and PC. The transmission signal is used amplitude modulation (SSB) in the CB zone.
Perfusion image processing
Dolníček, Petr ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis was to create a script in MATLAB, which is capable to load DICOM pictures, read the data in their headers and then select the right series for perfusion analysis. This analysis is based on detection of contrast fluid in bloodstream and tissue and right interpretation of concentration changes of this fluid in time. This work is trying to describe a way of building an ultimate system capable of autonomous tumor analysis and classification. In the end, there is an analysis of DICOM sample performed by created script.
Object Description in Images
Dvořák, Pavel ; Šmirg, Ondřej (referee) ; Zukal, Martin (advisor)
This thesis consider description of segments identified in image. At first there are described main methods of segmentation because it is a process contiguous before describing of objects. Next chapter is devoted to methods which focus on description identified regions. There are studied algorithms used for characterizing of different features. There are parts devoted to color, location, size, orientation, shape and topology. The end of this chapter is devoted to moments. Next chapters are focused on designing fit algorithms for segments description and XML files creating according to MPEG-7 standards and their implementation into RapidMiner. In the last chapter there are described results of the implementation.
Diagnostics of plasma chemical deposition processes using organometallic precursors
Sahánková, Hana ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
The aim of this work is diagnostic of plasma chemical deposition thin films based on organometallic precursors. Thin layers have recently become one of the most used methods for surface treatment of materials. They are used as a protective, functional layer, they improve surface properties of materials or increase or reduce the adhesion to various compounds. Plasma polymers are a modern trend in surface treatment technology. Their structure is different from classical polymers. The titanium (IV)isopropoxide was chosen as a monomer example, which is frequently used as a monomer for photocatalytic TiO2 films plasma deposition. These thin films are very promising for the removal of various air and water pollutants and thus they can significantly help in the increase of the environmental quality. Measurements took place on a commercial device Plasmatreater AS 400. The theoretical part describes the background needed for the study and diagnostics of plasma processes and technologies. The optical emission spectroscopy was chosen as a diagnostic method, and thus its principles are outlined in the theoretical part. Infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were applied for the diagnostics of prepared thin films and they are also described in the theoretical part. The experimental part contains two sections. The first section is dedicated to the plasma diagnostics by optical emission spectroscopy. Discharge was generated in nitrogen or in the air. Measurements were performed at seven different duty cycles and at two different flow rates for each of the working gases. The molecular bands of nitrogen first negative and second systems, CN violet bands, and atomic lines of oxygen and nozzle elements (Cu, Cr) were identified in the spectra. The titanium lines, and bands of TiO were determined if the precursor was added. Electron temperature was calculated using chromium lines, and electron temperature maps were obtained for continuous mode and pulse mode with duty cycle 70% for nitrogen plasma with 500 sccm precursor flow. Similar discharge maps were also processed using the selected line of titanium (520 nm) TiO band (625 nm) again for the same discharge conditions. Furthermore, the dependences of the same quantities were obtained along the discharge axis as a function of duty cycle in both gases with precursor flow of 1000 sccm. The second part of results brings material analyzes of the deposited samples. The peaks of anatase and rutile have been identified by infrared spectroscopy. Using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, we found that our layers contain a significant amount of non-dissociated precursor. Moreover, a large number of radicals, which can interact with atmospheric gases, was determined on the surface. These radicals are removable by annealing or by ion etching. All results obtained during this research can significantly help us to improve the quality of deposited layers and allow us also some prediction of the thin film properties at given plasma conditions. Of course, further experimental as well as theoretical studies should be completed to obtain complete knowledge needed for the wide applications of these layers.
Place of Sustainable Development
Dvořák, Pavel ; Rudiš, Viktor (referee) ; Koleček, Ivan (advisor)
Ostrava city as lost it's relationships to the medieval history of the city centre. There are not any historical places, spaces or palaces, with free public spaces like the old castles and palaces in the cities. In the place of the former German House, destroyed after the the World war II is a rest of public space, which could be a part of the city sustainability concept. The project let's the rest of the historcial garden there like a countryard between two houses of the new Sustainable Development Centre. The sustaiable concept is to let there be a free space in the highly dense block structure of the modern city.

Temperature control und monitoring of laboratory kiln
Dvořák, Pavel ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor work is to create a laboratory training which is made for teaching and demonstration laboratory furnace temperature control with applications created in Control Web 6.1 The role includes the regulation and capture waveforms measured and desired temperatures, allows the timing of the required temperature. The application is processed for example burning of small products. Allows archiving of temperature distribution and also monitoring the instantaneous values of the desired and measured temperatures with the possibility of switching heating via the Internet. The thesis presents a proposal for linking laboratory furnace with a computer using the input output module DataLab
