The aim of bachelor´s thesis is the construction and technological studies and selected technical prescriptionts for a new house multigenerational family house in Leština at Herálec. Bachelor´s thesis contains technical prescriptionts, and their corresponding control test plans, also includes time and financial plan for stage of coarse substructure, the resolution of wider transport relations, project construction site equipment, catalogue of used machinery, balance the deployment of workers, drawings movements mechanical assemblies, health and safety plan, and the seminar work for the design of wastewater treatment plant.

The Impact of Different Manufacturing Technologies and Thermal Processing of Groove Profiles on the Service Life of Ball Screws

The aim of this thesis is ball screw service life measurement. Text is divided on two major parts, theoretical one and practical one. Theoretical part describes three basic methods of ball screws manufacturing – rolling, whirling and grinding. Subsequently, methods of heat treatment (inductive and laser hardening) are mentioned. Practical part is devoted to ball screw service life testing and evaluation of results. Tests were carried out on two sets of two ball screws. First set was manufactured by whirling and grinding followed by inductive hardening. Second set was manufactured by grinding followed by inductive hardening in one case and laser hardening in the second one. Test results were evaluated according to international standards.

Measurement of roughness of the laser cutting edge

This bachelor thesis deals with laser cutting technology. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is described the basic principle and function of the laser and the distribution of different types of lasers. Descriptions of each use of lasers in the engineering industry follow, more attention is mainly devoted to laser cutting. In the experimental part is presented a methodology to measure the roughness of the test samples which were cut from stainless steel X5CrNi18-10, the subsequent evaluation of the roughness parameters and comparison with the norm ČSN EN ISO 9013.

Spiritual direction in the service of the hospital chaplain

Master thesis "Spiritual accompaniment in the service of a hospital chaplain" describes and evaluates uniqueness, meaning and demands of service of the spiritual accompaniment of a hospital chaplain. What its limits are and how it is different from the traditional understanding of spiritual accompaniment in the catholic community. Firstly hence is explained the term of spiritual accompaniment, ties with the psychotherapy are outlined and its value for patients. Then the work of a hospital chaplain is described, its mission and competence in the framework of the holistic approach towards hospitalized patients. Biblical and theological starting points that deal with patients in postmodern society are processed. Thesis clarifies specifics of work of a hospital chaplain, what demands are expected from hospital chaplains (from the patients, family, personnel, management of hospital and the church). Current chaplaincy practice in the hospitals is indicated in two case studies in the accompaniment of people who profess to religion other than Christianity. Soviet Geopolitics and Geostrategy in the Era of N. S. Khrushchev and L. I. Brezhnev

The main aim of this diploma work is to present the main topics of the soviet geopolitical thinking. The main thesis are presented at the beggining of the work and were influenced mainly by personality of Joseph Stalin. At the end of the first chapter those main goals of the soviet geopolitics are evaluated as well as the role of Stalin for the USSR. The timeline of this diploma work streches from 1953 - 1982 and the main events of this period are mentioned. At the end the role of the three soviet leaders is summarized and their actions evaluated.

Machine Learning Methods for Credit Risk Modelling

This master's thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part I described P2P lending, its characteristics, basic concepts and practical implications. I also compared P2P market in the Czech Republic, UK and USA. The second part consists of theoretical basics for chosen methods of machine learning, which are naive bayes classifier, classification tree, random forest and logistic regression. I also described methods to evaluate the quality of classification models listed above. The third part is a practical one and shows the complete workflow of creating classification model, from data preparation to evaluation of model.

Role of the selenium in the late hydrothermal phase of the Příbram uranium region

Příbram uranium and base-metal district is the most important vein uranium district in the Czech Republic. The main ore was represented by uraninite there and the occurrences of selenium mineralization are directly connected to it. The presence of selenides was not confirmed during the mining activities. Major development of the uranium-carbonate mineralization was found in the Bytíz deposit in the central part of the uranium district. All known occurrences of selenides have been found from this area only so far. Antimonselite, athabascaite, bellidoite (?), berzelianite, brodtkorbite, bukovite, clausthalite, dzharkenite, eskebornite, eucairite, giraudite, hakite, cadmoselite, klockmannite, naumannite, permingeatite, sabatierite, tiemannite and umangite, as well as the new unnamed selenium analogue of chalcostibite were newly identified from the dump material from the shafts No. 16 and 11A. The extremely Hg-rich hakite, which contains up to 30 wt.% of Hg, is the most remarkable mineral from the tetrahedrite group of minerals. The pertinence of the Hg-hakite was verified by means of the transmission electron microscopy.
