Prevalence of smoking in Czech: mapping and comparison of the available data sources
Neumannová, Anežka ; Daňková, Šárka (advisor) ; Pánková, Alexandra (referee)
Smoking is a risk factor in relation to health and the negative effects on health are already well known. Despite that, the prevalence of smoking is still relatively high, and smoking causes many deaths from various diseases associated with tobacco use. These deaths could be prevented by effective prevention. Monitoring tobacco use is key for effective prevention. Therefore, various international and national studies monitor tobacco use and their results often differ. In this work I compare available sources of data on smoking, which are implemented in the Czech Republic over the last almost thirty years. In this thesis, six repeated cross-sectional studies were analyzed. In order to compare studies with each other and the change over time, age-standardized prevalence of smoking was calculated for all studies analyzed. Binary logistic regression was used for more detailed comparisons. Furthermore, differences in social inequalities assessed based on education between the analyzed studies were identified. Statistically significant differences in the prevalence of smoking were found between the analyzed studies. Furthermore, different directions of trends in the development of smoking prevalence over time were also found in individual studies. A declining trend for both sexes was found only in the...
External causes of death - regional differences and context in districts of CZ
Spilková, Zuzana ; Daňková, Šárka (advisor) ; Mazouch, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis analyzes mortality from external causes in the region of CZ between 2014 and 2018. The main focus is on external causes of death as a group, suicide rates, and mortality from traffic accidents. Another aim of this thesis is, besides the description of mortality from external causes, to identify regional correlation and differences in mortality from external causes and selected causes of death (suicides and traffic accidents). This study uses correlation, factor, and cluster analysis. Because of the low numbers of deaths in the case of women (in all dependent variables), the study analyzes mortality from both sexes together. Based on created factors clusters of regions are developed. Results show the difference between regions in CZ in mortality external causes. Regions also vary in suicide mortality rates and traffic accident mortality rates. Independent variables that correlate with mortality from external causes vary for external causes as a group, for suicides, and for mortality from traffic accidents. Keywords: external causes of death, suicides, traffic accidents, factor analysis, cluster analysis
Vyhodnocení intenzity zaplevelení vybraných polních plodin
Daňková, Šárka
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the occurrence of weeds in selected field crops in the agricultural enterprise AGROLA, which manages in the Vyškov district. Monitoring was carried out on winter wheat, barley and maize. Incubation was evaluated by a numerical method. The results showed that wheat is the most threatened species of Galium aparine and Cirsium arvense. A total of 8 species were found in barley, the most numerous of which was Silene noctiflora. Maize is most affected by Elytrigia repens and Convolvulus arvensis.
Vztah hustoty porostu vybraných plodin a aktuálního zaplevelení
Daňková, Šárka
This work deals with the evaluation of the influence of weed intensity on stand density. Weed infestation was observed in Triticum aestivum and Brassica oleacea. The difference between autumn and spring composition of plant species was observed. Thlaspi arvense, Capsela bursa pastoris, and Galium aparine were the most common in the autumn measurement of Triticum aestivum. In spring Lamium purpureum predominated. In the autumn period, Brassica oleacea species were mostly Thlaspi arvense, Capsela bursa pastoris and Tripleospermum inodorum. In the spring, Capsela bursa pastoris, Veronica hederifolia and Viola arvensis. According to the statistical evaluation, the results are highly statistically significant; in the less dense stands of the wheat species Convolvulus Arvensis, Avena Fatua, Aegopodium Podagaria were found. In the less dense rape, Viola Arvensis and Capsela Bursa Pastoris were found.

The Impact of the Fall of the Berlin Wall on RAF
Matějková, Nikola ; Renner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Daňková, Šárka (referee)
The terrorist group Red Army Fraction ("RAF"), which jeopardized the public security with their attacks in West Germany since the seventies and killed more than three thousand people, issued a statement of official closure on April 20, 1998 after 28 years of its activity. This thesis tries to answer the question whether the fall of the Berlin Wall brought the final dissolution of the group. In addition to geopolitical changes it is also necessary to take into account the instruments of the national security policy and the split of opinion within the group. The geopolitical reversal in 1989 had two negative impacts on the RAF. Firstly it meant a devastating ideological defeat for them, even though the former GDR or any other Eastern Bloc country did not respond fully to their expectations. Another shock for them was the arrest of ten former RAF-members who were hiding in the GDR under a false identity. They eventually filed an extensive testimony, so that their sentences could be commuted. Federal Republic of Germany, which had not been too successful in the fight against terrorism up to this time, used the internal weakness of the RAF caused by political circumstances and it finally introduced new instruments to further destabilize the group and led to a rift between prisoners and members at large....

DAŇKOVÁ, Šárka
The aim of this thesis is to capture and describe the development and current trends in the issues of second housing in the Czech Republic, with particular emphasis on investigation of recreational facilities in gardening colony Prague-Libeň. The subsequent section focuses on the issues of gardening area Prague-Libeň, one of the oldest in the Czech Republic.
