Germanisms as components of phrasemes in Czech language
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Gabriela
This thesis deals with Germanisms, which are part of Czech idioms. Germanisms are words borrowed from the German language into our mother tongue. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the science of phraseology, its history, principles and types of idioms and it deals with the ways of vocabulary enrichment. The aim of this thesis was to find out whether idioms with Germanisms are still known for primary school pupils and for high school and university students today. The research was conducted at different types of schools in different towns, which are situated at varying distances from the borders with the German speaking countries. The results show that high school and university students achieve a greater knowledge of idioms, and that the distance of the school attended or the distance of residence from the border also plays a significant role in the vocabulary of young individuals. There are outlined didactic activities for working with idioms in German language lessons at the end of the thesis.

The main aim of the thesis is to assess the Czech-Austrian relations on specific cases in the area of interest in the Nová Bystřice region.
Using DNN for triangular network analysis in geometric morphometry
Dvořáková, Gabriela ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor) ; Dupej, Ján (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to use deep learning for the task of 3D object recognition. Deep learning has been succesfully used for three dimensional data recognition. However, most of the published work chose to represent 3D objects as a set of projected 2D pixel images or in the form of binary voxels. The main goal is to propose an alternative mapping of 3D data to the NN input. Three data representations are introduced: Treating vertex coordinates as a 1D array, projection to a 2D grid and a set of surface oblique lines crossing the sig- nificant parts of an object. All of the proposed data representations are tested for the gender classification task using NN and CNN on 3D facial models. We analyzed the impact of coordinate relativization and a new modified dataset crea- ted by extracting a nose area from original triangle meshes. Experimental results confirmed the quality of the oblique lines approach with achieved classification accuracies of 84, 2% using CNN. 1

Dvořáková, Gabriela
Dvořáková, G. Evaluation of branding of regional products in Chile with focus on small wine producers. Diploma thesis. Brno. 2015 The aim of the thesis is to find out what are the customers preferences when they buy a bottle of wine in terms of wine packaging and labels and if there is a need of branding for small wine producers as part of their marketing strategy. The regional products have started to be more demanded from Chilean customers and there was a need to find out if regional products can be connected to branding. There was analysed literature review, corresponding researches and studies. There was also created the pilot online survey about the Chilean customer's preferences. The pilot online survey is limited with the sample size and hence the sample is not representative. Therefore, the main focus is to find out how the consumers understand the questions and what should be the main improvements for the future research to avoid misunderstanding. The survey fulfilled 80 respondents and there was found out that 71,25 % of respondents decide to buy bottle of wine according to brand or name of the winery. The main attributes such as brand, name of winery, year and origin place was found out as the most important attributes for respondents. There was applied recommendation for future research to apply also qualitative research in form of in-depth interview or focus groups as there can be easily misunderstood the visual meaning. According to gathered data there was proposed a brand strategy as a guideline for small producers of wine. The thesis is written for a project Vitrina Campesina supported by Chilean government.
