Spanish immigration and asylum policy within the EU

The thesis analyses the evolution of the common European immigration and asylum policy and its similarities or dissimilarities in comparison with the Spanish national immigration and asylum policy. This comparison has been made by using the theoretical base of Europeanization. This concept means bringing the European dimension down to the level of national states. I have come to the conclusion that the EU has an influence mainly on the external part of immigration policy which means above all the protection of the borders of Schengen area. On the other hand, there are areas such as granting permanent residence to the immigrants varies significantly in the EU member states. The process of europeanization does not have a clear and unified influence on domestic immigration and asylum and other domestic policies.

Calculations of Energetics of Sigma Phase Formation and Thermodynamic Modelling in Fe-Ni-Cr System

The energy of formation of sigma phase with respect to standard reference structures of pure constituents were calculated using the combination of LMTO-ASA and FLAPW method for Ni-Fe and Ni-Cr systems. All results are based on the equilibrium lattice parameters of included structures. Calculated energies of formation of sigma phase of pure constituents were used for the thermodynamic modelling of the ternary system Fe-Ni-Cr. The calculated phase diagram agrees well with experimental data. Enthalpies of formation of sigma phase in Ni-Cr and in Ni-Fe obtained by thermodynamic modelling agree with the energy of formation calculated ab initio.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the external relations of Brazil. I compare the states in terms of a volume of trade and preferencies. That comparison is the main objective of this thesis. I used a variety of statistics from official websites of organizations - ALADI, World Trade Organization - WTO, Conference for Reconstruction and Development - UNCTAD and the Brazilian Ministry for Development, Industry and Foreign Trade - Ministerio do Desenvolvimento, Indústria e Comércio Exterior.

Srovnání přímého prodeje na americkém a českém trhu

Práce se věnuje analýze a komparaci situace přímého prodeje na americkém a českém trhu. Metoda přímého prodeje s rostoucí technologickou vyspělostí nabývá na významu a jak v USA, tak v České republice roste počet přímých prodejců i obrat jejich prodejů. Práce rovněž poukazuje na problémy spojené s tenkou hranicí mezi multilevel marketingem a ilegálními pyramidovými hrami. Práce rovněž obsahuje po jednom praktickém příkladu společnosti zabývající se přímým prodejem kosmetiky z amerického i z českého prostředí.
