The subject of the diploma thesis is a project of Centre for Prevention and an extension of the Clinic of Radiational oncology on the edge of Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno. The project completes pavilions composition. It responses to the future development designed in nearest surrounding. The project creates a new public space with a view towards Brno and the Pálava area. The project also proposes a sequential building – the Prevention centre at first and the Proton centre later.

The Municipal Library of Frýdek-Místek

Libraries has still big potential, so it's necessary to evolve them. About this thinks study for new city library in Frýdek-Místek. Nowadays, the library is situated in a few small unsuitable objects. Study expects, that smaller branches will be united to one. The place for new library is situated on the edge of historical centre district called Místek. The design follows in this centre, refills Antonínovo square and build a new prominent. The new building of library has dark grey colour with contrasting white details. Hexagon is basic ground plan, that becomes smaller with each floor.

The phenomenon of the Franciscan monastery in the medieval society.

The dissertation presents an edition of the medieval Latin chronicle of Eberhard Ablauff de Rheno. It is a previously unprocessed source. The chronicle is part of the Cheb Codex from the provenance of the Franciscans of the Bohemian-Moravian-Silesian vicariate. Today it is stored in the National Library. The Ablauff Chronicle records events concerning the Franciscans from 1451 to 1528, when Ablauff probably died. The chronicle is set in the broader context of late medieval Franciscan historiography produced in the Central European geographical area. The dissertation includes a codicological and paleographical analysis of the chronicle. On the basis of the editorially accessible text of the Ablauff Chronicle, it has been possible to discuss in a separate chapter the figure of the chronicler Eberhard Ablauff de Rheno, whose life can be imagined from inscriptions in his copied and written texts or from notes in the books he read. The edition of the Chronicle is supplemented by an overview of the Franciscan friars mentioned in the so-called Registrum fratrum. The edited chronicle can serve as a basic source for the religious and ecclesiastical history of our territory. "The oyster concept" in veristic prose of Giovanni Verga

The topic of this thesis is a presentation of the veristic italian prose, his main representative Giovanni Verga and analysis of the selected works. The author explores Giovanni Verga's life as well as his novel Fantasticheria from the collection of Vita dei campi and the novel I Malavoglia. The analysis has a focus on the "oyster concept" which is applicated and developted in these works. The conclusion reflects on the validity of this concept for our epoch and also for contemporary literature. Key words: Giovanni Verga, the italian verism, the oyster concept

Methodology of Diplomacy of John of Bohemia

The subject of the thesis is to formulate the methodology of work with different types of sources for the study of diplomacy in the Middle Ages. In the first part, the author defines the essential terminology : medieval diplomacy and diplomatic deed. The basis of sources is divided into categories according to the types of documents and for each group, a procedure of analysis is determined. The sources are always defined, classified and the state of their preservation is assessed. On the basis of the aforsaid evaluation, a suitable methodology for the analysis of medieval diplomacy is apropriated to every category of sources. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the study of the "staff of diplomacy", i.e. envoys, whose analysis allows to show the use of methodological approches to different sources for one scientific question.
