Blažek, Jiří ; Dobřichovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Žikovská, Petra (referee)
88 THE .EU TOP-LEVEl DOMAIN NAME AND THIRD PARTIES RIGHTS PROTECTION English summary My graduation thesis deals with the top-level domain .eu, its origins, methods by which it is embodied into legal enactments and mainly about rights relating to the .eu TLD and the extent of protection the holders of such rights could expect. The prologue is focused on the general analysis of the problematic regarding domain name itself, both the technical and legal aspects. Thus in this part you could find information about the function of the domain name, its relation to the IP address and about the categorization made on the basis of the top-level and second-level distinction. There is also description made in this part of the three main TLD groups: a) generic TLDs - .biz, .com, .edu, .gov, .info, .int, .mil, .name, .net, .org, .pro, .aero, .asia, .cat, .coop, .jobs, .mobi, .museum, .tel, .travel, .arpa, b) country code TLDs and c) .eu domain, which probably creates the third group. After common technical description of the domain name there is analogous treatise on the legal aspects of the domain names themselves as well as the description of the position of the entities involved in the legal relations relating to domains. The main part of this work is then composed of the study of the .eu top-level domain. The reader...

The *.eu domain and the protection of third persons' rights
Forming of developmental axes and regions in the Czech Republic
Lauermannová, Anna ; Müller, Jan (referee) ; Blažek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this study is to answer the question if it is possible in first decennium of 21st century to identify development axes or poles in Czech republic. In my research I focused on local level (NUTS V), because in many previous studies it is said, that the proces of spatial differentiation is in these days shifting from higher hiearchical levels to local level. I used the method of spatial autocorrelation because it helps to identify clusters of municipalities with high level of development potential (hot spots) or low level of development potential (cold spots) The development poles are defined as cluster of municipalities with high development potential. The main hypothesis is that the development axe between Pilsen - Prague - Liberec is deepening and that there will be discernible new development axe connecting Prague with Hradec Králové and Pardubice. This study also gives an overwiev of the most important theoretical concepts concerning development poles and axes. I also describe the aplication of these concepts in Czech republic with regard to acceptance of Territorial Agenda of the European Union .
Evaluation of a Contribution of JROP to Development of Selected Czech Regions
Kotinská, Radka ; Kokeš, Michal (referee) ; Blažek, Jiří (advisor)
3. Abstract The Czech Republic became a member of the European Union in 2004. As a member state none of whose NUTS II regions (except Prague) reaches the level of 75 % of the European annual per capita Gross Domestic Product, it has the opportunity to receive support from Structural Funds under the terms of Objective 1, whereby the largest volume of finance is being provided. The Joint Regional Development Programme is one of the programmes set up during the first programming period (2004 - 2006) in the Czech Republic. The programme differs from others in its field of activity because it combines infrastructure, human resources, information technology, tourism and small and middle enterprises, whereas each of the rest of the programmes specializes in just one sector. The total funds withdrawn from the European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund amount to €60,2 million. The main purpose of this study is to explore the level of cohesion between the programme results and the needs and problems of the less developed NUTS III regions in the Czech Republic (Olomoucký, Moravskoslezský, Ústecký and Karlovarský). The second part of the analysis concentrates on the results of the programme at the state level. The aim is to determine how succesful the programme was and whether there are sectors of the...

The theme of this work is Jewish messianism and its apocalyptic and rationalistic tendencies in Middle Ages. This part of the work reveals the necessary historical background - events that led to two great Jewish rebellions, destruction of ancient Israel and codification of Talmud face to face the growth of Christianity.
