Bachelor thesis ,,Analysis of business processes as a preparation for the implementation of an information system” deals with the questions of business processes in context of the requirements of the company for an information system. The theoretical part describes business processes, methods of their improving and it also marginally treats of information systems. The practical part is focusing on analysis, classification, description and illustration of the business processes which were chosen and it should become a resource for the description of requirements for the incoming IS.

The bachelor thesis deals with the use of statistical methods, time series and regressive analysis, as the effective tool for evaluation of characteristics and efficiency of the company and its outer surroundings, mainly macroeconomic. The goal will be to analyze the data by this means, to compare them and to make the conclusions. From the knowledge of historical data and forecasting preconditions for the future, the company will gain clearer image about strategy and its direction.

This thesis focuses on the analysis material flow of the production system at GS plus Ltd. and suggestions for improvements. The work consists of theoretical, analytical and design parts. The theoretical part contains the basic concepts of production. In the analytical part, there is described a current situation in production areas of the company on the basis of theoretical knowledge. In the final part, the solutions are designed to help improve the business.

Bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the current production system in the company ALU-COLOR, s.r.o. in terms of material flow. The main outcome is the proposal of new and more efficient deployment of workplaces in the production hall depending on transport distances between sites.The first part of the thesis describes theoretical knowledge of general and production logistics. These findings are then used for data analysis and for the solution proposal in the analytical part.

A Rationalization of Purchasing Logistics in Grafobal a. s.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the purchase logistics of the joint stock company based in Grafobal Skalica, which key production activity is the manufacture of solid cardboard packages. In thesis I am focusing mainly on vendor evaluation and selection of the most suitable candidates, which accomplish the criteria for supplying clothing for the company. The thesis has a theoretical and analytical part where I tried to explain and evaluate the contractor selection process. The third part deals with the proposal to improve the evaluation when selecting suppliers.
