The effect of morphine on expression and distribution of the alpha and beta subunits of trimeric G-proteins in the rat myocardium

Morphine is a clinically very important drug from the opioid group that is used for treatment of severe pain because of its strong analgetic effect. Opioid receptors mediating the morphine effect interact with the Gi/o class of trimeric G-proteins. Opioid receptors also occur in heart tissue and morphine can thus potentially exercise its effect on the function of this organ. The major aim of this project was to pursue consequences of long-term treatment with morphine on expression and distribution of selected heterotrimeric G-protein subunits in the rat heart. Potential cardioprotective effects of this drug have also been studied. Laboratory rats of the Wistar strain were treated with morphine (1 mg/kg/day or 10 mg/kg/day) for 10 or 28 days. The control group was treated with saline solution. Prolonged treatment with morphine did not cause any effects on Gs, Gi, Gz, Gq/11, G subunits, but the expression of Go rather decreased. The results of subsequent experiments showed that prolonged administration of high doses of morphine may reduce the area affected by infarction and reduced the frequency of ventricle arrhythmias depending on dose and duration of morphine administration. Impact of the business cycle on the car industry development in the Czech Republic and its comparison with the situation in other countries

The aim of diploma thesis is the analysis of economic cycle in the car sector in the Czech Republic and the government's approach on this issue. I desribe the global economic and financial crisis in the years 2007 - 2010, which had impact on automotive industry, For comparison, I add approach by government abroad and development of automotive industry, mainly in Germany and the Slovak Republic. The first part consists of theoretical approaches of important economists of the economic cycle, the company in recession and the different approaches to structural policy. Individual approaches are different and unfortunately there is no uniform approach to effective solution of the crisis. The analytical part deals with the beginning of economic and financial crisis along with the impact on the production and sale of three automotive producers in the Czech Republic - Škoda auto a.s., TPCA, Hyundai Motor Czech s.r.o. This impact is compared with the consequences of the crisis at car manufacturers in Germany and the Slovak Republic. Finally comes the assessment of mainly interventionist approaches by governments in the Czech Republic and abroad. Through the efforts to alleviate the ongoing recession in the sector was being set up so-called scrap subsidy that had an impact on the industry in the Czech Republic, even though in our country was his introduction denied.

Analysis of the Development of Wages in the Czech Republic since 1993

I chose this theme because it is current topic , as well as the issue price of labor affects almost every one of us. The aim of my work is to analyze the progress of earnings in the Czech Republic and the factors that influence this development since 1993. In the theoretical part of the work I am going to analyze the opinions of the authors of the theories of wages, and the types of the price of work and influences that determine them. Furthermore, in this chapter, I am going to analyze the theories on the effects of macro-economic indicators such as gross domestic product, inflation, labor productivity, the unemployment rate, etc. on earnings. In the analytical or practical work I am going to analyze the earnings progress in terms of education, professions, regions, age, etc. In addition, in this chapter, I am going to analyze the development of macroeconomic indicators in the Czech Republic and their effect on wage since 1993. At the end of my Bachelor Thesis I am going to try to assess the determinants affecting wage progress in the Czech Republic.
