Drive assistant
Trýska, Tomáš ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The drive assistant is a device designed for application in sportscars not provided with a sufficient amount of gauges showing the state of engine and drivetrain. These gauges usually show pressures, temperatures, voltage, and other quantities. The values are shown on a graphic display as two analog indicators. The states are selected using a touch panel. The device is equipped with four ultrasonic detectors, which are used for parking assist and warning against collision with a vehicle in blind angle.
Microposition control device
Kokeš, Ondřej ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
Presented thesis analyses a function of the particular type of the nanopositioner with aim to suggest and construct an electronic device suitable for control of the nanopositioner slider. In presented material there is a description of the control signals and possibility of their generating in the respect of slider movement accuracy. The main goal of the thesis is to describe electronic units ranging from power supply, control processor unit part to end part that directly joint nanopositioner. There is also programme equipment for microcontroller and computer, communication description, movement measuring and calibration and draft for the close-up of the control loop for additional increase of the movement accuracy.
Design of audio frequency amplifier for PC sound card
Chalupa, Petr ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This work deals with the problems of low frequency amplifiers that are specialised in processing an analog music signal, that is get from output element of an sound card of an computer. A part of my work is a design of an amplifier, an design verification by calculations and simulations and subsequent production of amplifier. The end of my work is specialised in measurement parametres of amplifier and comparing them with german norm DIN 45 500.

Laser projector for advertisement
Krist, Jakub ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The scope of this work is to design equipment capable of using a single laser source project programmed image or text. Introduction is a summary outlining the basic principles of image projection in laser imaging. This thesis describes the design of a laser projector that is using microcontroller AT MEGA16 together with auxiliary electronics and rotating ring, able to draw the desktop system bitmap graphics.
Remote control of low voltage curcuit-breaker
Brtnický, Jiří ; ABB, Stanislav Korčián, (referee) ; Bajer, Arnošt (advisor)
The work deals with design and contruction of the extension module remote control, through which the starter motor is remotely controlled. On the basis of specified input parameters such as size, engine type, engine power, voltage, etc., is given control module design, which includes a control unit (microprocessor) for remote control of motor drive and assessment of motor starters. The work also includes analysis of the problems of mechanical transmission, depending on the management and selection of an engine. This work is finished with the physical realization of a prototype control program by drawing a flowchart and manufacture of printed circuit boards with subsequent recovery and testing.
The Sensor Systems Design and Optimization for Energy Harvesting Applications
Žák, Jaromír ; Husák, Miroslav (referee) ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
Dissertation thesis is focused on using alternative energy sources called energy harvesting. This thesis offers a solution to problems with autonomous powering of sensor networks if primary power source recovery is impossible. In these cases, energy of the external power (e.g. temperature, light, motion) should be used. Proposed solution should be especially used in the field of medical applications (e.g. cochlear implants, pacemakers, insulin pumps). Long time monitoring of the personal health status is also possible when employing automated sensor systems. In this work, there is state of art review relating to the low power energy sources for an alternative powering of sensor systems. It was observed that existing systems are almost prepared for the implementation of energy harvesting power sources. The energy harvesting power sources have been developed by numerous researcher teams around the world, but there are only a few variants of power management circuits for effective energy gaining, storing and using. This area has a huge potential for the next research. The issues regarding to the distribution of gained energy are solved on the complex level in the thesis. For these purposes, a new simulation model of the whole system (fully implantable artificial cochlea) including its subcircuits was developed in the SPICE environment. It connects independent subcircuits into a single comprehensive model. Using this model, a few novel principles for energy distribution (e.g. Charge Push Through technique) was developed. In the near future, these techniques are also applicable to the design of versatile sensor systems.
Rail-to-rail CMOS operational amplifier
Buček, Vladimír ; Bajer, Arnošt (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
The object of this project was to get acquainted with proposal of operational amplifier of technology CMOS. Primarily was analyse the structure of transistors PMOS and NMOS, thanks to them we could gradually suggested single blocks of operational amplifier. The work treats about proposal of differential pair, current mirror and the ending stage of amplifier. After the proposal of single blocks was done control of operational amplifier by simulation programme CADENCE.
