In the Czech Republic, there is not enough information for rational drug taking during gravidity yet. The purpose of the practical part was to identify and analyze therapy used by pregnant women by questionnaires, in which respondents could show their knowledge and awareness of over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, food supplements and herbal and homeopatic remedies. Methods: The data collection lasted from August 2017 to March 2018 and was performed in the form of questionnaires at the Domažlice Hospital, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Nurses played a vital role to distribute the questionnaires and instruct every newly admitted woman how to fill them. The questionnaire was anonymous, contained 50 questions of open, semi-open and closed types and included introduction letter with the entrance criteria. The purpose of the theoretical part was to summarise available information in selected health issues of pregnant women. The purpose of the practical part was to identify and analyse the therapy used during pregnancy and the attitudes, opinions and awareness of women after delivery about over-the- counter drugs, medical devices and other forms of complementary and alternative medicine. Methods: The data were collected at the maternity ward of Jičín Hospital from November 2017 to February 2018 via questionnaires. Aleš Krebs, Ph.D. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction and aim of study: A Pharmacist, as a worker in a health service has to continue to further the education of themselves throughout their career in pharmacy. The main goal of this diploma thesis was to analyse continuing education after graduation used by selected members of the District Association of Pharmacists. Methods: Data for a practical part of this diploma thesis were collected by a questionnaire survey. A 39-item survey was administered to selected pharmacists (members in the Czech Chamber of Pharmacists) from randomly chosen the District Associations of Pharmacists. The address to access the survey was added in a recruitment letter. In this letter, the study was also described and was sent to 858 pharmacists through their e-mail addresses. The first mailing was sent after 7 days, the second mailing after 14 days. The respondents who filled in compulsory questions were included in the analysis. Eva Stupková Supervisor: PharmDr. Jan Babica, Ph.D. Title of rigorosum thesis: Products of Black Eagle Pharmacy at Malá Strana district of Prague This thesis is focused on products of Black Eagle Pharmacy in years 1857-1930. Throughout these years subsequently Benjamin, Karel and Jiří Fragner were the head pharmacists. The pharmacy offered many products in various forms (the oldest ones include Prague Universal Household Ointment or Dr. Rosa's Balsam). At the beginning of the 20th century the range of goods was even wider. The pharmacy produced medi- cinal products (such as Buccavacedrol, Galegol, etc.) as well as dairy products, sweets and other goodies. In the 20's the variety of products increased to such a degree that the production had to be moved to a B. Fragner factory in Dolní Měcholupy. Some of the medicinal products were still made by the end of 20th century (Jopton, Guanar, Hysteps, etc.). In some instances the name has changed but the contents remained close to the original up to this day (Thymomel). Core of this thesis is a chronologically ordered list of products. Title of diploma thesis: Historical Evolution of Pharmacy in the Region of Banská Bystrica The main subject and aim of the thesis is an attempt to depict the determining features of historical development of pharmacy in the defined region of the town of Banská Bystrica from the most distant past until the contemporary present time. The issue of history of pharmacy is observed in close connection to significant events and particularities in general historical development of the town and the surrounding region. It is simultaneously assessed in immediate connection with the fundamental milestones in the area of medical care. The thesis is focused on chronological description of individual pharmacies in Banská Bystrica. The final part is dedicated to the changes in pharmacy after 1989 and the contemporary situation of pharmacies.

Generic drugs and generic substitution from the patient perspective III. Its authorization is supposed to bring a considerable savings not only for healthcare systems but also for patients. Objective: The aim of this thesis was to analyse patient's attitudes, opinions and experiences,which are related to the generic drugs and the generic substitution. Methodology: A data collection was gathered in the general practitioner's office in Prague in the time span from 18th of November 2015 to 21st of November 2016. All respondents, who visited the general practitioner during this period, were asked to cooperate. Only those who meet the input criteria could participate in a questionnaire investigation. The questionnaire consists of 36 questions which can be devided into 5 thematic areas (an actual disease and its treatment, socio-demographics characteristics, common awareness about generic substitution and generic drugs, own experiences with this topic, attitudes of the respondents).
