This works main topic is raising vertebrates at school. It includes their problems and benefits. Its aim is to create a clear text offering information to people interested in this activity. The questionnaire method was used to find experiences of teachers from both the Czech Republic and abroad (Norway, Poland, Spain). The Historical Occurence of Large Carnivores in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, Eastern Bohemia and Northern Moravia

The theme of the work is The historical occurence of large carnivores in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, Eastern Bohemia and Northern Moravia. This is a research work which contains five key sections. The first one deals with the development of the landscape, the ensuing sectors are dedicated to the respective species of carnivores. Namely, the brown bear (Ursus arctos), the grey wolf (Canis lupus), the lynx (Lynx lynx) and the wild cat (Felis silvestris). The conclusions drawn from the data obtained indicate proved presence from the sixteenth to the early nineteenth century.
