Case study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after ACL Surgery

Title: Case study of patient with diagnosis of ACL surgery Aim: The aim of the thesis is to provide all clinical findings that are written in two parts the first is the theoretical part that brings the general outlook and information about diagnose of ACL Ruptured. Practical part describes the outcome and the effect of the applied physiotherapy. Method: The thesis is based on my three years' study of physiotherapy at the faculty of physical education and sport of Charles University. Thesis consist of two main parts; the first part describes the anatomy of the knee joint and the aetiology of the ACL reconstruction. The second part describes the initial kinesiological examination and physiotherapy treatment has been applied to the patient. Result: Satisfying result after the 4 weeks of physiotherapy treatment which consist of 8 session by showing the sign of improvement of the positive result by eliminating the pain, maintain the knee stability, increase the ROM, improve muscles strength and encourage the patient to put more load on the operated leg and improve better gait pattern.
