Aesthetic defects of the building

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of aesthetic defects occurring on buildings and their influence on the construction cost. The aim of this work is to study the issue of the valuation of aesthetic defects and then a case study to show how aesthetic defects will increase the construction costs and what costs it will impose upon their removal. To conclude this thesis I compared the removal costs of aesthetic defects with the value decrease of not removing these defects on the family house used for the case study

The diploma thesis purpose is to choose optimal structure of the modernisation of slab block flat roof, according to building life cycle coast minimalisation. Based on the theoretical knowledge, the design of the stack was made in different phases and based on the building life cycle cost, considering the decreasing value of money over time. The selection of the optimal solution followed, taking account the specific conditions of the given scope of realization and the specific object. The choice is justified by the related analysis of key items.

This diploma thesis deals with the real estate trading theme, this means the construction market and the real estate market. The introduction is devoted to basic terms, followed by familiarization with the investment project and the division of market to the construction one and the one with the real estate. There are also defined subjects (participants) of these markets and institutions that can affect these markets. The main part of the thesis is the description of a development project from pre-investment phase to final sale or lease of real estate. It describes the course of construction project in the perspective of the developer. The final part is focused to an economic evaluation of the project, determining the profitability of rental and sale of individual parts of the building
Cost analysis of a smart house

The bachelor thesis focuses on cost analysis of smart house. It describes the gradual development of technologies that have affected today's smart homes. The thesis also shows the possibilities that these systems offer to users. The use of these technologies and their interconnection is explained in more detail in order to save electricity and household finances. It also contains a description of the potential risks of attacking the aforementioned systems by unauthorized persons. The practical part deals with experimental measurements on a model of a room equipped with smart devices.
Creation of Item Budget using Building Information Modeling

The thesis will focus on analyzing the current utilization of Building Information Modeling in budget creation and its mutual cooperation in practice. As part of the practical section, a 3D model of a family house will be created to visually explain the key aspects of this issue. The practical part will include a description of the procedures and processes employed in the modeling.

The subject of this dissertation is the application of selected elements od industry 4.0 to the construction industry. Individually selected elements are subsequently presented in more detail and for each element is created a SWOT analysis. The conclussion of this dissertation is conducting surveys in construction companies on the use of new technologies and evaluation of these surveys.
Optimization of tender documentation for the flat reconstructions

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of tender documentation for flats reconstruction and its optimization to accelerate projecting and budgeting works. The thesis deals with the issue of prices, budgets and project documentation. Furthermore, the most common defects of their possible repair. Optimization methodology is point-written and explained on example. The conclusion of the thesis is a comparison of tender documentation and optimized documentation for the selection of the contractor (contractor) of the building.
Analysis of roof structures

The main purpose of this bachelor thesis in the first part is to describe function and types of prices and costs. Then there are described general processes of calculation with preoccupation on constructional production. The second part focuses on an issue of one-cover flat roofs with roofing coating of waterproof and bituminous membranes, its technical solutions and analysis of assemblies from the viewpoint of the costs of customers. There are several chosen objects from houses and industrial buildings, that serve as examples of setting of estimate index of construction item and estimate index of building element. Key items in terms of financial cost alternatives are designed to achieve savings.
Influence of range of reconstruction on the price of building construction

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of range of reconstruction on the price of building construction. Effect of the extent of reconstruction consists in comparing of the total costs of the bridge during reconstruction of the top of the bridge leaving the main structure and during the reconstruction realized with the exchange of the main supporting structure. The total costs incurred are expected for 60 years.
