New ichnofossils from the fluviatile Upper Carboniferous sediments of the Intrasudetic Basin (Czech Republic)
Turek, V. ; Mikuláš, Radek ; Libertín, M.
A Cochlichnus - dominated ichnoassemblage was found in the "petrified forest" (Lepidodendron etc.), documenting very short colonisation windows for the tracemaker. Thus, isect larvae are the most probably makers of the dominant ichnogenus.
The impact of satellite configuration on GPS measurements
Doležalová, Hana
GPS is a satellite system designed to locate the position and time anywhere on Earth and its surroundings. The paper deals with the impact of the quality of the constellation of satellites during the observation on the correctness of calculation and the accuracy of position.
Wave pattern of seismic events induced by quarry blasts in the Chomutov region
Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Knejzlík, Jaromír ; Horký, J. ; Kořínek, R.
The wave field that is generated after blasting operations in the Chomutov region is very complicated. The record of the intensive group of surface waves manifesting themselves in a vibration of the harmonic type for 15-35 seconds follows in the wave patterns.
Seismic recording apparatus PCM3-EPC with telemetry data transmission
Knejzlík, Jaromír ; Kaláb, Zdeněk
Digital seismic signal recorder PCM3-EPC equipped with embedded PC and data telemetry via GSM modem was designed by Institute of Geonics for application at three-component surface seismic stations established in OKC for research of influence of mining induced seismic events on surface structures.
Temperature effect on selected mechanical properties of rocks of Skalka locality
Konečný, Petr
Results of research of temperature effect on selected mechanical properties of rock of Skalka locality are discussed.
Age determination of the barite veins from Tišnov using palaeomagnetic method
Dolníček, Z. ; Chadima, Martin ; Pruner, Petr
Epithermal calcite-barite veins are typical feature for metallogeny of the Moravian Svratka Dome. Samples of vein fill (calcite+barite) and altered (hematitized) host metagranitoids were studied palaeomagnetically with the aim for better age determination of this mineralization. Using the principal component analysis method, a component bound to hematite was determined and this component corresponds to the Upper Permian-Lower Triassig age.
Possibility of total fracturing forecasting of loaded rock samples on the base of ultrasonic emission analysis
Rudajev, Vladimír ; Lokajíček, Tomáš ; Vilhelm, Jan
The ultrasonic emission, generated by rock samples loading, was subjected to autocorrelation analysis. The increase of autocorrelation coefficients and the tendency to their linear decrease is evidence of redistribution of stress in the sample, which occurs after stronger ultrasonic events. The above-mentioned parameters have a precursory character.
O problému complexního matematického modelování vybraných dvou a tří rozměrných mezních vrstev atmosféry
Sládek, Ivo ; Kozel, Karel ; Jaňour, Zbyněk
Mathematical and numerical investigation of the atmospheric boundary layer flow over complex terrainhas been presented. Some results from a wall modelling study of the 3D-flow over a complex Prague's agglomeration has been showed.
