Laser welding method is widely used in the industrial production, from micro welding of electronic parts to joining automobile and aeroplane parts. Distribution of temperature field in narrow heat affected zone and following mechanical deformation and residual stresses of part can be modelled by FDM numerical software SYSWELD.

Dentine sensitivity is a common complaint of patients in dental offices. It is caused by the opening of dentine tubules towards the external environment. One of the procedures that seems to have a longer-lasting effect is the closure of the exposed dentinal tubules on the teeth surface by means of CO 2 laser or Nd:YAG laser.

Dentine senzitivity is a common complaint of pacients in dental offices. They are caused by the opening of dentine tubules. This may be due to enamel or cementum loss or due to the dentine exposure in the area of cementum-enamel junction. A procedure with long-lasting effect seems to be the closure of the exposed dental tubules on the teeth surface by means of CO 2 or ND:YAD laser.
