Lemberk Castle as a cultural and historical heritage

V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE The objective of the bachelor thesis called Hrad Lemberk as a cultural monument is to comprehensibly describe building-technical development of this object along with gradual mentioning noble dynasties, to which Lemberk belonged. The thesis is divided chronologically into construction stages that the object undertook. Analysis starts when castle arose in gothic period, continues to renaissance reconstruction into chateau, later on it focuses on baroque conversions, further on reconstruction of chateau in period of dynasty Clam-Gallas as far as to the 20 th century and there is also mention about conversions occurring in contemporary. Concurrently with construction analysis there is description of noble dynasties, to which object belonged. Activities in relation with manor are described in cases of more significant owners. From all the owners, that occurred at North Bohemian manor, the one was chosen and was dedicated the greatest room. The chosen person is Mrs. Zdislava, patroness of North Bohemian region. This lady is known for her miracle therapy and her cult has been adored very much so far. Keywords: castle, saint Zdislava

The every day life in k.u.k. Kriegsgefangenenlager of Austria-Hungary during the World War I. based on the diary of Alessandro Pennasilico

This w'ork deals with the every-day life in k. u.k. Kriegsgefangenenlager of Austria-Hungary during W orld War 1. and their picture in the diary of Alessandro Pennasilico, who demonstrates one of possible destinies of Italian soldiers after Caporetto battle. This work is divided into three main thematic chapters. The first chapter deals with tbe reasons of Italy for enter in war and about rate of powers between Italian and Austro-Ungarian army, forth with development of situation on Isonzo front and following break-through at Caporetto. The second chapter deals with the historical development of war prisoners camps till Great War and with reasons for creation of international agreements, which tried to solve question af captivity. Also I deal with relationship of Italian state to its captured soldiers and with their destiny after the twelfth Isonzo battle. As example is mentioned one of the biggest prisoners camps Sigmundsherberg. The final chapter is focused on concrete destiny of Alessandro Pennasilico as of Italian soldier of Bologna brigade and as of war prisoner in prisoner' s camp in Milovice as weB. At the end id added translation of his diary, which he wrote during his captivity and which is his subjective point of view confronted with events on front and on political scene.

Building Activity of Jan Rudolf Chotek in the Domain of Nové Dvory

The theme of this thesis is the building activity of Jan Rudolf Chotek in the region of Nové Dvory. The main attention is paid to the classicist château of Ka ina, to the process of its construction, its appearance, inner structure and both of its pavilions which contain the library, the theatre and the incomplete chapel. A large park in English style is covered as well as some of interesting landscape components inside. The attention is paid to some other building projects of count Chotek which are not as important as Ka ina chateau but they help to create a picture of the count in his role of enthusiastic constructor. The chapter about the development of the family of Chotek cannot be eliminated, because it shows an environment which Jan Rudolf came from. The chapter about the history of the region of Nové Dvory is important too because it influenced Jan Rudolf and inspired him to his building activities. The task of this thesis is to introduce Jan Rudolf Chotek as a constructor with a compact conception which he realized for all his life.

Improving the educational experience of a field trip to Vyšehrad castle

I will analyse the role of the monument Vyšehrad in the Czech mythology in the theoretical part of my diploma work. I will identify the period of the Czech history, when Vyšehrad was a very important national symbol for the Czech people. I will also present the devolopment of this monument in this part of my work. The aim of the practical part of my work is to prepare the educational material for children at the elemantary school. The educational objectives of this project at the monument Vyšehrad are determined according to the Czech educational standards RVP. I will also present worksheets for children and some basic instructions for teachers.
