This thesis deals with the study of home automation systems. The main goal of this thesis is to prove their effectiveness. The sample project shows how to calculate the efficiency and profitability of investment in the home automation systems. The result of this work is a methodology for determining the efficiency of investment projects into automation systems. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is to provide the reader with the basic understanding of automation systems. their functionality and their advantages and disadvantages. A technical model is provided describing an automation system iNELS. The practical part describes the procedures and the outcomes of the effectiveness of the system.
Website audit of Agronomical companies

This master thesis focuses on the problem of web sites auditing. The three main areas covered in the thesis are usability, accessibility and search engine optimization. These three categories are main elements resulting in good or bad website. The main aim of this thesis is to describe the basic rules and recommendation for each of these three categories. This area is undergoing very fast and neverending development so I will also try to cover latests trends and directions. The first, theoretical part, will result in selection of grading criterias based on each of the three categories. These criterias will be later used to analyze the biggest players in the area of agricultural companies and organizations. The result of this audit will be ranking of each company website together with recommendations how to improve them. It will be also possible to recognize the main mistakes and problems of commercial websites.
Analyses And Design Of On-line Shop

This diploma thesis concerns the analyses and design of the internet shop for GastronomikKV s.r.o. The internet trading is currently a high priority for the firms, and so applies to the firms in the area of the gastronomic appliances and services. The first part of the thesis deals with a theoretical background of the internet shops. The theory is followed by the analyses of the customers' requirements for the future internet shop of the firm and analyses of its competitors. Before the actual design part of the thesis, the proposed design is analyzed by WebML methodology. The main part of the thesis, the one regarding the design of the internet shop, is primarily focused on the use of internet marketing tools and implementation of the proper search-engine optimization, but also outlines the principles of usability and accessibility of websites. In conclusion, the thesis evaluates the design in terms of how it shall contribute to the increase the competitiveness of GastronomikKV s.r.o.
Audit of the electronics retailers´ websites

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to analyze websites of electronics retailers. An initial analysis is followed by evaluation of the determined results and designing the right solutions. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical section. The theoretical section is focused on consumer behavior and the aspects of well-developed websites, which are visibility, usability, accessibility, technical and graphic design. These elements are the basis for the compilation of methodology, which is then used for analyzing websites. The practical section includes a detailed audit of five selected websites. It also contains user testing by randomly selected respondents. The detailed analysis is followed by a summarization of the results of individual companies. The output of the thesis is an overview of the quality of tested companies' websites. The main contribution of this thesis is an overall analysis and concrete design improvement of the electronics retailers' websites.
