This bachelor thesis is concerned with the issue of covering energy demands of an object which has not yet been electrified. It approaches the topic from both the side of possible technological solutions and the side of financial aspects of executing these projects and concludes with their analysis and comparison. The chosen solutions are the diesel generator, electric cable connection and photovoltaic panels.

The last part deals with the collected data, the results drawn from these data and the efficiency calculation.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the issues and options for heating these buildings using new technologies and methods, to describe the design of individual boilers, their properties and uses depending on the type of fuel, and to assess the economic performance of selected heating options for a particular building.

In the first chapter, the individual kinds of solid fuels are described in light of their composition, properties, means of their energetical application and ways of adjusting them to a form proper for combustion. The last chapter deals with comparision of several specific boilers in light of their purchase price and operating expenses.

First part deal with division of fireplace inlays according to material, construction of combustion chamber, combustion air, heat transmission and used grate. Second part deal with ČSN EN 13229. Majority part of work deal with problematic of measurement instruments, measurement section of combustion products and also with measurement of effectivity of fireplace inlay. Last part of Bacheor’s work speak about possibilities of optimalization effectivity in whole amount of power of fireplace inlay.
