Smart Plug
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis discusses the design of a smart plug. The theoretical part focuses on the individual parts and functions of smart plugs, and their functional possibilities are analysed together with the related fabrication perspectives. The practical portion concentrates on the selection of appropriate components and proposes a complete design of the hardware and software of a smart plug, including a web server for its control. The practical portion also describes a calibration of a measuring part and compares measured values with values from another measuring device.
The desingn of the lighting protection for civil buildings
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the issue of lightning protection and goes along with ČSN EN 62 305 norms. First part goes into effects of lightning on objects and engineering networks in theory. Second part familiarizes external lightning protection and possibilities of its realization. The issues of internal protection against lightning and surge protection are analysed afterwards. Second half familiarizes protected family house and the risks are calculated for this house. External protection is designed and verified by protective angle and rolling sphere methods. Last part of this thesis focuses on internal surge protection and individual levels of surge protection are designed.
PowerLine Communication for LED unit control
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and testing of a system for powerline communication, enabling control of LED lights. The work first describes the basic principles of powerline communication, specifies the communication bands and summarizes the basic functional requirements for communication within the system for LED lighting control. It also describes the method of selecting a modem for powerline communication, the design of a test module with this modem and also the method of testing real communication between two test modules, including test results. The most comprehensive part of the work describes the design of hardware and software of the universal PLC module and how to use it. In addition, it referes to the development tools used as an example of implementation in LED lighting. At the end of the work are summarized the results of testing the proposed system.
Short circuit current of synchronous generator
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problematics of short-circuit current of synchronous machine. The first section focuses on the theoretical process of short-circuit current of synchronous machine and describes how this transient process changes throughout it's duration and with what reactances and time constants it is defined. Subsequently, this section deals with the methodics of tests of the snychronous machine, which may be used to set it's reactances. The second part of the work focuses on measurement of the short-circuit current in a specific synchronous machine. Further, there are measurements of processes of the short-circuit in time and their analysis. The last section of the thesis deals with the simulation of short-circuit current process. The simulation is ran by the Matlab/Simulink software. Simulated processes of short-circuit are then compared with the results of measurements from the previous section of the thesis.
Telepresence in Microsoft HoloLens
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
Digitizing the world allows many people to work comfortably from home. The unfavorable development of the coronavirus epidemic and the associated restrictions caused an increase in the number of people working this way, which has also meant an increased interest in tools enabling remote communication. This work deals with another potential stage of the remote communication - telepresence. The aim of this work is to design and create the telepresence system in augmented reality. The person involved in the remote communication is captured by the Azure Kinect device, which transfers the image data to the computer through a cable. The data is processed, plotted on the computer and transferred into the Microsoft Hololens 2 glasses via the local network using the Holographic Remoting functionality.
Aircraft's Engine Data Recorder
Vrána, Michal ; Šebesta, Ondřej (referee) ; Červenka, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with aircraft engine monitoring system. In the first part a study of current solutions, available on the market is made. Next is the description of test airplane, where the prototype of the instrument will be tested. Description of prototype instrument, it’s data handling and graphical solution are all analysed in the next chapter, with pros and cons of possible solutions. Last chapter deals with further instrument development and possible data postprocessing.
