Management fotbalových trávníků v ČR
Šebesta, Michal
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the football turfgrass management in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis deals with general information about turfgrass and grass species used for football fields. The next part of the thesis is devoted to turfgrass technology, where the maintenance services, and regeneration care are described in detail. The conclusion of these chapters mentions the issue of modern football turfgrass management technologies such as hybrid systems, UV-C protection, and artificial lighting. The theoretical knowledge is applied in practice in the last part of the bachelor thesis, where the intensity of turfgrass management is compared concerning the competition level. It was found that the turfgrass management in the highest level of competition significantly differs from the turfgrass management in the lower competition. Differences were also found at the level of the turfgrass itself. It differed in properties, method of construction, and game strain. Practice recommendations were formulated based on these differences.
Synthesis of digital landscape surface data
Šebesta, Michal ; Kahoun, Martin (advisor) ; Křivánek, Jaroslav (referee)
A procedural generation of landscapes often meets a need for real spatial data at finer resolution that data available at the moment. We introduce a method that refines the spatial data at the coarse resolution into the finer resolution utilizing other data sources which are already at the better resolution. We construct weighted local linear statistical models from both the coarse and utility data and use the by- models-learned dependencies between the data sources to predict the needed data at better resolution. To achieve higher computational speed and evade utility data imperfection, we utilize truncated singular value decomposition which reduce a dimensionality of the data space we work with. The~method is highly modifiable and its application shows plausible real-like results. Thanks to this, the method can be of practical use for simulation software development. The goal of the work is to develop an application for working with a sound. The aplication doesn't try to compete with a long time developed commercial application. It tries to point out what is the most important for sound editing. Therefore the application mainly contains the most important and the most comfortable elements. These elements are e.g. loading sound files, recording with microphone, editing functions, multitracking and various effects. Setting of shortcuts and design is comfortable for users, too.
Analýza Unity3D Asset Store. Uvedení produktu, taktiky pro maximalizaci tržeb
Korchun, Denis ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šebesta, Michal (referee)
This thesis focuses on several topics. The first one is a description of Unity3D and its official marketplace - Asset Store, including reasons why the market is attractive for publishers. The second one aims at customers - their motivation for visiting the store and performing purchases. Also, it contains a brief analysis of Asset Store products value for customers based on game developer experience with using several products on a project. The third topic covers development of our own product over time, containing information on wide range of activities like competitors monitoring and analysis, as well as important decisions on further development taken. A path from a poorly performing product to the one of the most popular in a category is described. The last topic is focused on searching for additional ways to maximize publisher income from Asset Store. The aim of this work is to provide practical information on topics described above from two different, yet closely related point of views of both customer and publisher.
Přínosy a Výzvy Použití Podnikové Architektury v Organizacích
Mansurova, Dinara ; Šebesta, Michal (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with the topic of benefits and challenges of Enterprise Architecture (EA) use in organizations. The main objective of this thesis is the critical analysis of EA potential use in sample organization by examining its benefits and challenges, which results in form of recommendations necessary for efficient management of the organization using EA. Firstly, the thesis introduces the topic of EA along with its core concepts and principles. Then, the author discusses main drivers for EA and its typical application. Perceived in the field of EA benefits and challenges are identified and classified. The result is then confronted with a practical case study, which describes EA application in a sample organization. The author conducts the experimental EA initiative in that organization, by modeling current state (as-is) and potential solution architectures. The main deliverable of this initiative for the organization is the critical analysis of potential EA use within the organization with the identification of its added value and challenges. The findings are then summarized in form of recommendations for the future development of information systems of the organization.

Awareness of police officers of the District Department of Pribram about possible emergencies in the cadastre of Pribram
ŠEBESTA, Michal
The bachelor work analyzes readiness and awareness of police officers assigned to the OOP Příbram for extraordinary events. Furthermore, it deals with the risks associated with the leakage of dangerous chemical substances connected with this territory, the result of which is an information document that can be used in practice. The whole thesis may be divided into several parts. In the first part, a theoretical one, it summarises knowledge regarding Integrated Rescue System and knowledge regarding extraordinary events or crisis situations. I am dealing here with the most important terms relating to the topic together with their characteristics. The research part is the most important part of my thesis. The research has been carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey which focused on several areas. These areas are readiness and awareness of police officers assigned to the OOP Příbram. These areas may be divided into emergency reporting and awareness, knowledge of the Integrated Rescue System, and readiness and awareness of the leakage of dangerous chemicals in the Příbram area. The results of the bachelor thesis showed that the awareness and readiness of the police officers assigned to the District Police Department of Příbram related to the extraordinary events of the Příbram City is high. Additionally, the knowledge of the Integrated Rescue System and other circumstances of managing rescue and disposal operations or various levels of intervention management are also high. Nevertheless, the readiness or awareness of police officers of the District Police Department of Příbram for extraordinary events of dangerous chemical substances leakage is small.

Moving information system in the cloud.
Dušek, Martin ; Šebesta, Michal (advisor) ; Osif, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the theme Moving information system in the cloud. The paper first describes the issue theoretically. It is defined and characterized by cloud computing as the current major trend in the implementation of information technology. A description of individual actors and models emerging in cloud computing, its brief history, related technology underlying or expand cloud computing, client issues and reference architecture model. It also includes an analysis of the current state offered cloud services, compared to open source and proprietary solutions, and was implemented insight into the upcoming National Strategy for Cloud Computing The case study move e-mail system to a hosted private cloud is demonstrated by the complexity of the entire process and the rugged environment of government institutions. On the basis of theoretical knowledge and case studies in the last chapter proposes a model that would in general help in deciding whether the institutions of government information systems migrate to cloud computing, which is also in line with the forthcoming national strategy.
Hypermedia APIs and their use for enhancing integration of IT services
Annau, Mike ; Šebesta, Michal (advisor) ; Jelínek, Ivan (referee)
This paper's aim is to design and implement a tool transforming REST Web APIs into APIs which facilitate the integration process. The improvement of integration is mainly divided into two parts: The embedding of semantic data in order to establish a common understanding of objects, properties and relations and the possibility to navigate through the API structure in an easy and automated way. The theoretical part is dealing with the fundamentals of Web APIs, today's related trends and the API's shortages and points of improvement. Another objective of this paper is to compare current data standards of output formats for so called Hypermedia APIs, whereas the most suitable components will be chosen as the output format of this paper's resulting tool. The practical part is dealing with the design and implementation of the tool being developed. Included, there is the description of test scenarios, related benefits for the tool's users as well as a final evaluation of the resulting tool and a discussion of the tool's future potential. The benefits of the tool are evaluated in a case study.
