River mionitoring system with GSM communication

This master thesis is dedicated to system of water monitoring for use of alternative source power supply and GSM communication. The thesis carried out research on the possibilities to take measurements on watercourses, also detailed research of photovoltaic panel, available accumulators and their charging and a synopsis of similar systems. Furthermore, the master thesis also captures design and implementation datalogger device type with possibility to send measured data to the website.

OPC client for regulatory control modelling in COMES system

It was created program of the OPC client which simulates behavior of a continuous dynamical system. The simulated continuous dynamical system is described by the differential equation. The numerical solution of the differential equation simulates response of the dynamical system. The OPC client is connected to the control system with the regulatory program via the OPC server. The response calculated by OPC client and the action of the control system program transferred via OPC communication allow modeling and tuning the continuous control program implemented in the control system.

Wireless communication between remote PLC and lab model

The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to get familiarised with programmable devices from the Rockwell Automation company and with radio modems from the Satel company. The aim of the thesis was to control a model of a fractionating column situated in a distant laboratory. The device, designed to be controlled inside the lab, assessed the data which it received from the fractionating column model and sent the data by which it controlled the column. For wireless communication between the devices a radio modem Satel 3ASD was chosen. The thesis describes the visualisation and communication of the controlling of the fractionating column model. In the final phase the functionality of the designed visualization and communication was tested.

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to model virtual bridge type track shifter. There are specified in detail purpose and goals in the introduction. Next chapter is focused on short characteristic of programming environment RSLOGIX 5000 and software FactoryTalk View Studio used for creation of model control visualisation a and software RSLinx Classic. Then there is analysed in detail created program with description of all parts and final visualisation including control system.

Lock-in Amplifier

This thesis deals with coherent demodulation by using Lock-in amplifier. The first part of this thesis focuses on theoretical analysis of this issue. The second – practical part describes design, construction and measurement of single–channel and dual–channels analog Lock-in amplifier. Further is described measurement of flow through the Coriolis flow meter by using dual-channels Lock-in amplifier. As further is described design digital Lock-in amplifier by using measuring card. The conclusion summarizes the results of measurement of Lock-in amplifier.

This master’s thesis deal with principles temperature measurement using resistive temperature sensor PT100 and algorithm design PSD controler. In Work is includ description problems temperature measurement and way evaluation by means of mikrokontroler, which by PWM output controls supplied heat power. Next is here described method realization controls device for heating electric furnace with setup via Ethernet.

Wireless communication between remote PLC and lab model

The main aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to establish wireless communication between programmable logic controller (PLC) used in laboratory model of a distillation column and PLC, which controls the technological process. Industry bus ModBus TCP/IP and wireless modules in client-server mod was chosen to reach this goal. To control the technological process was created visualization. At the finish of the work everything was tested.

The thesis deals with the issue of weighing of prepackaged goods and control of packing process . The thesis describes the method of communication with weighing-machine and including this method to the communication network with the communication terminals. The thesis describes the selection of the communication bus and defines requirements for the function of the communication terminal and utility program. The study also describes the hardware and firmware of the communication terminal. In the conclusion, the work describs the utility program including data model.

Microcontroller based system equipped by MEMS barometer

The aim of this work is to design micro-electro-mechanical system with microcontroller barometer. The work deals with explaining the problems of pressure measurement, by selecting the appropriate sensor and the actual design and construction of the facility. Data from the sensors are evaluated using a microcontroller in real time on the display.
