This thesis deals with the project of modernization of Slavkov u Brna railway station. The main aim is to draft adjustments of the platforms to fulfil the requirements for the movement of people with reduced mobility. To decide which kind of platform is possible to build. Also to plan the adjustments to track bed and platforms taking into consideration what the customer of railway operation had ordered. To draft reconstruction taking into consideration how old and worn-out permanent way and substructure is, with the posibility to increasing track speed.

Design of Reconstruction of Railway Section Kunovice - Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště km 0,3 - 2,0

The main purpose of this thesis is to look at the reconstruction of single railway track Kunovice – Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště in the section km 0,3 – 2,0. The section starts at the connection to the last switch in railway station Kunovice and ends in the railway station Uherské Hradiště. The thesis also includes the reconstruction of Kunovice's neck of station tracks in the station Uherské Hradiště. In the next part of the thesis I present the design of the drainage's recover. The following parts consider the ability to increase the track speed, the plan of technology how to make the reconstruction as well as the bill of quantities.

Empirical testing of hybrid NKPC for the Czech Republic and the Slovakia

This thesis testing hybrid NKPC for the Czech Republic and the Slovakia. Analysis made by Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) and complementary Two Stage Least Squares (TSLS) demonstrated that given concept, representing short-run relationship between inflation, inflation expectations and marginal cost/output gap, is relevant for the Slovakia and irrelevant for the Czech Republic. And NKPC is relevant for both countries. Thesis also shows the development of the Phillips curve (from its original version up to the modern version) and its derivation. In this thesis is also introduced so called the triangle model. This thesis also presents several (similar) researches which testing (hybrid) NKPC and their results are compared with the results of this thesis.

Impact of national debt on the behaviour of households

Do Czech households behave on the basis of Ricardian equivalence? Do we threaten the future of our children? These are the questions I want to solve in my thesis. I implemented the regression analysis on an annual and a quarterly data. Its results allow us to deny Ricardian equivalence (which is in violation of much foreign research), so we can agree with, so-called, traditional hypothesis. This means that macroeconomic consequence of society is: higher spend, than avaible product. The main criterion of these consequences is, whether borrowings are used to consume or to investments, complying with criterion of investment.
