Competitiveness Improvements of Railway Passenger Transport in Section Unicov - Sumperk

The thesis target is to design construction treatments resulting in improving the passenger railway transport in this section. Planned modernization and electrification will change the transport nature significantly, which calls for an examination of the existing track possibilities. The task was to focus on the regarding stations as a crucial troughput aspect and on the travel quality improvment by minor construction adjustments. I have examined walking distances, designed a new Troubelice - Centrum stop. By convenient platform shifts higher velocities criteria were met. All precautions respect the wheelchair access. The station design allows higher velocities operation and do not restricts current use.

Study of New Tram Track in Brno, section Tkalcovska - Masna

The study deals with the line of the track axes of the new double-track tram line led by Tkalcovská, Podnásepní, and Koželužská streets. The tram line ends on the one side at the Cejl-Tkalcovská crossroad, on the other side at the Křenová-Koželužská-Masná crossroad. Connection is adapted so that the line continues along Masná and Hladíková streets to the new railway station. Also, the aim is to check whether it is possible to place the planned line within a street space, designed by the territorial study "Přestavbová zóna - Špitálka a okolí". The bachelor thesis further contains a design of new barrier-free tram stops and elaboration of a study of walking distances.

BVV Branch Line Integration to the Brno Railway Hub

The bachelor's thesis is focused on possible connection of the current railway siding at BVV to the planned parking terminal Brno-Jih which will be a part of the new Railway Junction Brno. A particular criterion set by the contracting authority was to assess the possibility of connecting the siding via a new bridge across the Svratka river.

Vsetin - Velke Karlovice Railway Track Refurbishment (section between km 2.725 - 6.000 km) Including Track Laying Technology

This thesis deals with the design of track geometry parameters and the reconstruction of the selected section of Vsetín – Velké Karlovice railway track’s superstructure. This reconstruction expands to further include the connection track to the Bečva branch. This proposal has been designed with the following objects in mind: railway stops Ústí u Vsetína and Janová, railway crossings, bridges, culverts, etc. Finally, this proposal addresses the restoration of drainage along the tracks and track laying technology. It should be noted, that all proposed adjustments are designed according to current regulations and legislation.

Railway Station Unkovice HSR

The objective of the diploma thesis is to design the layout of the railway station on the planned high-speed track Brno – Breclav. The thesis focuses on the station layout including the junction with a branch of high-speed track to Znojmo. New service road to railway station, connected to existing roads, is designed. The station layout design includes a carpark, bus stops, car rental, parking for the disabled, bikers, taxi services and cyclists.

Bachelor´s thesis deals with design of permanent way and track geometry parameters of the selected section of Vsetín – Velké Karlovice railway track. The design should be considered primarily on existing objects such as railway crossings, culverts, railway stops, bridges , etc. Thesis includes restoration of drainage and track laying technology. It should be noted, that all proposed adjustments are designed according to current regulations and legislation.
