Building Order in the Building Company Organization
Čuba, Vojtěch ; Vlčová, Zuzana (referee) ; Nováková, Jana (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to describe the organisation of an order in a construction company through a specific order example. Thus, this thesis shows the order in its key parts and describes the individual stages of the order organisation in the company. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the actual project management problems. It describes the objectives and plans of a construction company, the background circumstances related to the project organisation, to its stages and aims. The chapters focused on the organisational structures of the company and on the stages of the contract management can be found at the end of the theoretical part of this thesis. The second part of this thesis is practical and it deals with the application of the project management in the company Skanska a. s., in particular, with the stages that describe the process of the order passing through the company.
Assessment of feasibility of renovation of an industrial complex in terms of return on investment
Chytil, Jaroslav ; Čuba, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (advisor)
I concentrated on assessing the suitability of the reconstruction of the industrial complex in terms of return on investment. For illustration and example, I chose part of an industrial complex in Nova Ves near Pohořelic. The solution was used knowledge from the field of investments, valuation of immovable assets and budgeting reconstruction. The result is both evaluation using economic indicators (in this case, the net present value of the investment), which demonstrate the appropriateness (or inappropriateness) and the extent of reconstruction in terms of return on invested funds. This thesis is beneficial for the homeowners who are considering reconstruction and want to rent a property.
Preparation and optical properties of scintillation oxide layers
Hanuš, Martin ; Kučera, Miroslav (advisor) ; Čuba, Václav (referee) ; Pejchal, Jan (referee)
In this work we studied properties of garnet scintillator layers (RxLu3-xAl5O12, RxY3-xAl5O12) doped by rare earth ions (Ce, Pr, Tb), orthosilicates (Y2SiO5; R = Ce, Tb) and influence of Sc codoping on Pr3+ and Tb3+ emissions. The Zr codoping on Ce3+ emission in orthosilicates was also studied. The samples were prepared by liquid phase epitaxy. The studied materials show high quantum efficiency and good chemical and mechanical stability. They represent ideal materials for 2D imaging devices. We studied optical absorption, excitation and emission spectra and scintillation properties (radiolunescence and photoelectron yield). The aim was to determine the properties of grown layers and their comparison to Czochralski grown single crystals. We looked for the impact of melt and growth conditions on measured layer properties. We also tried to determine optimal amount of dopants in layer. We used PbO - B2O3 and BaO - BaF2 - B2O3 fluxes. Using these fluxes, we succeeded in growing layers with less intrinsic defects in crystal lattice in comparison to single crystals. In grown layers of thickness from 1 to 30 µm higher dopant concentration was achieved than in single crystals.
The spectroscopy study of focused short-wavelength laser-matter interactions

Title: The spectroscopy study of focused short-wavelength laser-matter interactions Author: Tomas Burian Department: Department of Surface and Plasma Science Supervisor: Ing. Libor Juha, CSc., Department of Radiation and Chemical Physics, Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague Abstract: This thesis is focused on processes occurring during and immediately after an interaction of intense short-wavelength laser pulses with matter. Extreme states of matter (warm dense matter - WDM and hot dense matter - HDM), induced by EUV/SXR/X-ray lasers of two kinds, i.e., free-electron lasers (FEL) and plasma-based lasers, were investigated by emission spectroscopy over various spectral ranges and mass spectroscopic techniques. Absorption/transmission experiments revealed an effect of saturable absorption of soft X-ray laser radiation in aluminium WDM. Then, an ionisation potential depression (IPD) in dense plasmas was investigated by means of X-ray emission spectroscopy. Results obtained with the X-ray FEL-produced plasma exhibit very good agreement with computer simulations considering the Ecker-Kröll model. Analysis of optical emission spectra (OES) supports the key role played by fast recombination processes in the ablation plume created by focused short-wavelength laser beams on the solid target...
Characterization and focusing of capillary-discharge XUV-laser beam for purposes of thin-film deposition
Pira, Peter ; Wild, Jan (advisor) ; Čuba, Václav (referee) ; Tichý, Milan (referee)
Title: Characterization and focusing of capillary-discharge XUV-laser beam for purposes of thin-film deposition Author: Peter Pira Department: Department of Surface and Plasma Science Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Jan Wild, CSc., Department of Surface and Plasma Science Abstract: The paper deals with the first results of the interaction of a desk-top high repetition rate XUV laser (wavelength of 46.9 nm) radiation with materials suitable for optoelectronics, in particular the ionic crystals CsI, LiF, etc. Using surface physics methods (AFM, DIC Normanski microscopy) pulse laser imprints were investigated. Based on the results obtained, general information on the nature of ablation and desorption was obtained, which were compared with the results of the XUV-ABLATOR modified code modeling. Plasma arising from ablation was examined by a modified Langmuir probe system. The main result is the pulse laser deposition of thin films of Bi and CsI. Keywords: ablation, Pulsed Laser Deposition, XUV laser

The preparation of porous materials for radionuclide capture
Bajzíková, Anna ; Smrček, Stanislav (advisor) ; Čuba, Václav (referee)
This thesis is focused on the preparation of porous materials which may be usable for radionuclide uptake. These characteristics can be found at nanoporous materials (size of pores 1 - 100 nm) or at polymers. Nanoporous metal oxides and silica gel with styrene-divinylbenzene-TODGA modified surface were prepared and characterized for this purposes. All new prepared substances were tested for the efficiency of radionuclides capture. These measurements were done in Ústav jaderného výzkumu in Řež or in our laboratory.

Financial Assurance of Public Project during its Realization
Čuba, Vojtěch ; Kovářová, Zdeňka (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to depict the financial provision of a public project during its implementation that includes the draft of its financial provision and the appraisal of the financial feasibility of the investment project. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the basic concepts that explain the issues of public projects, the public sector and public procurement. The end of the theoretical part describes the various ways to finance public projects. The second part of the thesis is practical. In this part I focused on the creation of the ways to finance the project “Realization of energy savings” that are possible, including the reconstruction of the roof of the building of the Police of the Czech Republic in Brno, at street Cejl No. 474 and No. 159 and the proposal of the optimal financing options.
