Oxygen resistivity of 2-D composites based on E-glass and siloxane
Balík, Karel ; Černý, Martin ; Kolář, František ; Křena, J.
2-D composites prepared from glassy fabric and siloxane resin as a matrix were cured and subjected to pyrolysis at 400, 500, 600řC in nitrogen. Materials were oxidized in dried air at 400 and 700řC for a period of 1h.
Interlaminar shear strength of textile reinforced carbon-carbon composite
Kotek, Jiří ; Glogar, Petr ; Černý, Martin
Interlaminar fracture of carbon fabric reinforced carbon composites with different volume fractions of reinforcement (Vf = 36 - 60 %) was investigated by tensile loading of double-notched specimens. Dynamic tensile and in-plane shear moduli of all materials increased with increasing Vf. The interlaminar shear strength yielded maximum values for specimens with volume fraction Vf ~ 48 %. After graphitisation, the in-plane shear modulus fell remarkably which is probably due to "stress graphitisation" of the matrix.
Ab initio simulation of three-axial deformation of perfect iron crystal
Černý, M. ; Šandera, P. ; Pokluda, J. ; Friák, Martin ; Šob, Mojmír
Ab initio electronic structure calculations of ideal strength, bulk modulus and equilibrium lattice parameter of iron in the body-centered-cubic lattice under three-axial tension are performed using the linear muĆn-tin orbitals method in atomic sphere ap proximation (LMTO-ASA) and the full-potential linearized augmented plane waves method (FLAPW). Magnetic ordering was taken into account by means of spin-polarized calculation. Two exchange-correlation energy approximations were employed, namely the local (spin) den-sity approximation (LDA) and the generalized gradient approximation (GGA). Computed values are compared with experimental data.
Ab initio calculations of theoretical strength and phase stability in copper
Černý, M. ; Šob, Mojmír ; Šandera, P.
Simulation of tensile test of copper cryslat along <001> is performed using ab initio full-potential linear augmented plane waves (FLAPW) method. Both the local density approximation (LDA) and generalized gradient approximation (GGA) are used to evaluate exchange-correlation contribution to the total energy. Equilibrium lattice parameter and Young modulus are computed ro assess reliability of our results by comparing them with experiment. Stability conditions for uniaxially loaded system are presented and analyzed. Finally, the ideal strength (IS) is calculated.
The Czech Vienna as a part of the specific interliterary community?
Černý, Marcel
The article deals with the problematic of the literary production of Czech Viennese literati as a specific literary phenomenon. The author attempts, on the basis of the theoretical standpoints of the international project led by D. Ďurišin (Specific Interliterary Communities I-VI, Bratislava 1987-1993), to define the literary specifics of the works published in Vienna as well as, for the need of the article, about Vienna by local authors in Czech.
Elastic and fracture properties of refractory ceramic matrix composites at 900-1300řC
Černý, Martin ; Glogar, Petr ; Dusza, J.
Young's modulus of refractory ceramic matrix composites with unidirectional reinforcement by Nextel 720 or Nicalon NL202 fibers was measured in air at 900-1300řC. Above 1200řC the modulus decreases remarkably and it depends also on the strain rate.

The Tesco Company's New Products Launch Strategy
Guričová, Marie ; Zamykalová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Černý, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with new products launch on the market, specifically, it concerns private labels' products. I focus on the characteristics of the Tesco company and on the private labels' market. The SWOT analysis and customer segmentation are followed by the pivotal part of my theses - the marketing mix of the new products and customers' evaluation.
