Optimization of parking spaces for buses and trucks
Bedřich, Marek ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
Main focus of diploma thesis is optimalization of dimensions stated in parking norm ČSN 73 6056 Parking areas for road vehicles. Goal of the thesis was to optimalize dimensions stated in norm from 2011, eventually come up with a new type of parking space. Thesis is based on recherche, which was done on both previous and actual Czech norms as well as on foreign norms. Change in dimension was possible due to evaluation of swept paths of the individual parking slots. New suggested dimensions are stated in the conclusion.
Study of the Šternberk bypass on road I / 46
Dibďák, Jan ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is the study of the East bypass of the town Šternberk. The reasons for constructing the bypass are divert heavy traffic, to increase safety in the city and to reduce the traffic negative impacts of transport. Road is designed as a S11,5/90 with slow and declining lines. From five searched variants were chosen one, which was designed in more detailes.
Optimizing of road design elements by means of vehicles’ swept paths
Čepil, Jiří ; Katarína, Bačová (referee) ; Josef, Kocourek (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The dissertation deals with application of simulated swept paths of vehicles to road designs. Using software which generates simulated swept paths makes new demands on the designer, but Czech regulations do not stipulate the appropriate method of applying swept paths. The theoretical part of the dissertation analyses the theory of how a vehicle moves when passing through a horizontal road curve and a method of calculating a necessary extent of widening the road. The practical part compares swept paths generated by various software programs and differences between them. In order to verify the shapes and dimensions of the swept paths generated, the swept path of a real vehicle was measured. This swept path was then compared with the one generated, and the differences between them were evaluated. One of the software programs was chosen as a reference program, and its output was applied to a road design pursuant to valid regulations. The results obtained within the dissertation were used to develop certified methodology titled: „Methodology of widening road lanes in horizontal curves and of application of vehicles’ swept paths “.
Optimization Of Selected Proposed ČSN Elements For Road Design
Kokeš, Ondřej ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes and researches some proposed ČSN 73 6101 elements for road design and their subsequent comparison with Norma de Traçado that is main law for road design in Portugal. In practical part, the speed of vehicles during moving on direction curves is researched and subsequently coherence of theoretical assumptions with real speeds is compared. The main aim of this work is to verify the assumption that design speed does not correspond to the real speed that drivers move on road structures.
Variant solution I/57 in section Semetín-Bystřička
Kovářová, Veronika ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of my thesis is a variant I/57 in the section Semetín-Bystřička. The proposed route of communication, was part of an existing communications maintained for its full utilization. Were drawn four proposed variants of the solution, 3 variants are trying their best to use existing communication Jablůnka the village, one suggested option B that leads outside the existing road.
Study of the Dukelské Square - Přelouč
Mittermayerová, Anita ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of final thesis is the reconstruction of the area Dukelského Square and its surroundings outside the station ČD in Přelouč. This is an modification of pavements and roads, design of parking places and car park. The solution was processed in several variants, based on traffic census.
Intersection roads I/43 and II/385 in Kuřim
Valentová, Gabriela ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with drawing Winter change to replace an existing capacity-inconvenient crossroad. This crossroad is located near by city Kuřim and it has free branchs – II/386 connecting on theroad I/43.Thisinterchangesolvesconnectionfromthaplanned bypass of the city Kuřim. This by-pass road will connect to road R43. An precondition preservativ of the existing road I/43 in the current position to get drawing of the innterchasecheaper. Intersection is designed to enable branching in all directions crossing.
Crossroad I/54 x II/498 x III/05417 in Slavkov - Study
Kubík, Tomáš ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis is dealing with design of junction reconstruction in the framework of anurbanistic study. The junction is located in Slavkov village, Zlín region, where the I/54, II/498 and III/05417 roads intersect each other. The aim of the project is to design well-arranged intersection of three different types of roads and create safe, comfortable and pedestrian friendly crossroad. There are two basic versions. The modification of junction was elected as the most suitable version, which is designed and specified by technical report and drawings.
II/379 and II/373 crossroad security risk solution in the Jedovnice village
Merčáková, Petra ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
This thesis investigates the design documentation of the proposal to amend the existing confusing intersection of contact on the contact rectifying junction with traffic or roundabout. The proposal is designed communications for pedestrians and bus stops. Vehicular traffic will be channeled through the protective, dividing island.
Selected ČSN Road Design Elements Optimization
Stránský, Jakub ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The master‘s thesis focuses on the optimization of the design values of curves of the horizontal alignments of the roads. It deals with the comparison of values between czech and foreign standards and differences between them. The practical part examines the values of the real speeds of vehicles passing through the curves of various parameters that were measured during measurements of selected curves during 2014. From these data a new design values are derived that could be used for the design of horizontal alignments.
