Submunicipal Councils in the Czech Republic: A case study

This thesis focuses on submunicipal democracy in the Czech Republic and in the European context. Submunicipal democracy and its units form the lowest level of political systems in small and large municipalities. It is a topic that has so far been studied only at the level of individual states and in a very limited way, despite the fact that units are found in many European countries. The paper provides an overview of the types of submunicipal units in Europe with their basic characteristics, and outlines a possible typology according to which submunicipal units in Europe could be categorised. The next part of the thesis deals with the situation in the Czech Republic. The units that represent submunicipal democracy in the Czech Republic are called submunicipal or local councils. These are established by municipal councils in local parts of towns and municipalities. The thesis establishes how submunicipal councils in the Czech Republic are established and how they are set in a historical context. State, Region and Municipality cooperation in planning and implementation of traffic structures: Case of completion of the D1 Motorway in the Říkovice - Přerov section

This work was focused on the procedure of the state in the traffic construction realization and the intervention of municipalities and regions in this procedure. The process of approving traffic constructions can be divided into five phases, the strategic phase, the conception phase, the land preparation phase, the construction preparation phase and the pre-implementation phase. Each of these phases has certain steps that must be followed. Municipalities and regions can enter the process at several points, the most important of which is the entry into the research study, the EIA process and the territorial proceedings. Municipalities and regions can also influence the warrant approval of traffic constructions with other resources, such as media coverage of the problem, petition events and cooperation with other autonomies. Another goal of the work was to reveal what complications are taking place in approving the completion of the D1 motorway, section 0136 Říkovice - Přerov. I carried out a case study and found out that the completion of the examined section was complicated by a lack of funds, the need to repeat the territorial proceeding with obtaining an exception from the EIA process. The Market Research of The Written Communication Courses

The principal theme of this work is the courses of written communication. The theoretical part mainly focuses on the business plan and the market research. The practical part describes the evolution of internet communication and continues with a business plan which comprises the concept of courses of written communication. Based on the market research, the goal of the work is to find out whether the chosen focus group would be interested in this kind of courses. The market research consists of the secondary and primary research. The primary quantitative research served as a tool to update the secondary data. As a qualitative research the author used the individual in-depth interviews. The work concludes by evaluating the results of the market research and serves as a recommendation for managers of educational institutions.
Problems of deal of the day websites and their cooperation with providers

My bachelor essay discusses the topic of deal-of-the-day websites. In the foreword the key words as a deal-of-the-day website, sale-search engine, affiliate program and its connectivity and cooperation are explained. In the following part of the essay there can be found the development of the deal-of-the-day websites on the Czech market and the demonstration the great commencement of those websites, its growth, unceasing innovations and the estimate future development, particularly in the 2012. Among principles for processing of the practical part of this essay belongs a questionnaire filled by the providers, comparison with the abroad and comparison of two different-sized deal-of-the-day websites. The main goal of this questionnaire is to ascertain the overall satisfaction of the cooperation between provider and the deal-of-the-day websites. Comparison with the foreign countries' situation will consist particularly in collation with Groupon, the first deal-of-the-day website in the world. The comparison of the domestic, totally different websites will be done on the ground of the interviews with the representatives of each website.
