The deposition of CaF2 ultrathin layers on graphene substrate
Caesar, Radek ; Nebojsa, Alois (referee) ; Mach, Jindřich (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on preparation and analysis of ultrathin CaF2 (calcium fluoride) films on a graphene substrate. CaF2 was deposited in UHV conditions at substrate temperatures in the range from 20 °C to 400 °C. The material was deposited on Si(111) with a native SiO2 layer and on a substrate with a CVD graphene layer. The deposited films were analyzed by XPS, AFM and SEM. Moreover four different sample holders for deposition purposes were designed in this work.
Design of manipulator for ultrahigh electron microscope
Caesar, Radek ; Mach, Jindřich (referee) ; Bábor, Petr (advisor)
The main purpose of this thesis is mechanical design of a manipulator for an ultra-high vacuum scanning electron microscope (UHV SEM), being currently developed by TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING a.s. in cooperation with the Institute of physical engineering FME BUT. The manipulator is supposed to be able to handle with specimens in so-called preparation chamber, which the specimens are put in before placing into the analytic chamber. In the preparation chamber the surface finishing and also other operations are made. In the theoretical part some of the technologies used in vacuum engineering, especially various principles of pressure measurement and gas pumping, are described. Besides, the thesis is focused on a brief description of UHV SEM being developed and the methods of specimen preparation. The practical part deals with the concept and the mechanical design of manipulator itself.
Zhodnocení stavu Knínického potoka z hlediska znečištění dusičnany
Caesar, Jindřich
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to monitor the stream Knínický potok in terms of water quality and nitrogen pollution. The theoretical part contains the basic facts about water and its importance to humans. Further it describes the composition and properties of water, types of water and especially water quality and pollution. There are also defined factors having the most significant impact on water quality along with the relevant le-gislation. The practical part consists of site survey and the monitoring itself, which was carried out monthly from april 2015 to march 2017. The monitoring was based on fieldwork requiring water sampling and measurement of selected parameters such as pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and temperature; the other parameters, nitrate and total nitrogen, were determined in the UAKE MENDELU laboratory. In the discussion part the resulsts are compared to ČSN 75 7221 and to the government regulation 401/2015 Sb., in an effective version. As a result of the work, main sources of nitrogen pollution in the stream are determined.
Zhodnocení účinnosti čistírny odpadních vod v Ivančicích
Caesar, Jindřich
The aim of this diploma thesis is to monitor the selected parameters of wastewater pollution at wastewater treatment plant in Ivančice. The theoretical part contains the basic facts about water pollution and wastewater treatment, and the relevant legislation. Fur-ther there is described the wastewater treatment plant in Ivančice. The practical part consists of the monitoring of wastewater at the affluent and effluent of the plant, which was carried out monthly from November 2018 to February 2019. That was based on sampling and measurement of selected parameters such as pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and temperature; the other parameters, nitrate, ammonia and total nitrogen, orthophosphates, total phosphorus and chemical oxygen demand were determined in the UAKE MENDELU laboratory. The calculated average efficiency of each parameter was over 90 %. In the discussion part the results are compared with the government regulation 401/2015 Sb., in an effective vision, with the data obtained from the wastewater treatment plant Ivančice and with some other authors.
