A comparison of the legal regulation of welfare in pregnancy and maternity in the CR and the SR

Porovnanie právnej úpravy zabezpečenia v oblasti tehotenstva a materstva v ČR a SR Diplomová práca rozoberá zabezpečenie v tehotenstve a v materstve v dvoch štátoch a to v ČR a SR a následne ho porovnáva. Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je analyzovať a porovnať súčasnú právnu úpravu zabezpečenia v tehotenstve a materstve z pohľadu práva sociálneho zabezpečenia a s pohľadu pracovného práva v ČR a SR Práca je členená do piatich kapitol. Prvá kapitola popisuje historický vývoj sociálneho zabezpečenia na území ČR a SR so zameraním na zabezpečenie v tehotenstve a materstve. Druhá kapitola nás uvádza do systému sociálneho zabezpečenia stručne definuje jednotlivé systémy, prvky právnych vzťahov a charakterizuje jednotlivé sociálne udalosti ako tehotenstvo, pôrod, materstvo, nezaopatrenosť dieťaťa. Tretia kapitola rozoberá oblasť nemocenského poistenia postupne v ČR a SR. V prvej časti kapitoly popisuje systém nemocenského poistenia v daných krajinách a následne ho porovnáva. Druhá časť kapitoly je venovaná jednotlivým dávkam nemocenského poistenia a ich vzájomnej komparácií. Štvrtá kapitola je zameraná na zabezpečenie v oblasti tehotenstva a materstva v systéme Štátnej sociálnej podpory a porovnaniu jednotlivých dávok, ktorých cieľom je hmotne zabezpečiť rodiny s malými deťmi. Selected issues of the third phase of pension reform in the Czech Republic

Ausgewählte Fragen der dritten Phase der Rentenreform in der Tschechische Republik Das Ziel meiner Diplomarbeit ist die Beschreibung, die Analyse und die Auswertung der dritten Phase der Rentenreform mit dem Hinweis an die Probleme, mit dennen auch die letzte Entscheidung der Regierung über die Aufhebung des zweiten Pfeilers des Rentensparens verbunden wurde. Die Arbeit wird systematisch an die 5 Kapitel geteilt. In der ersten Kapitel werden die universale Prinzipen und Möglichkeiten der Konstruktion der Rentensysteme zusammen mit der Aufnahme des tschechischen Rentensystems in dem System der Sozialversicherung detailisiert. Die zweite Kapitel detailisiert die Gültigrechtsausgestaltung des tschechischen Rentensystems.In der dritten Kapiltel wird auf die Probleme verbundene mit der Einführung der Groβrentenreform hingewiesen und auf diese Problematik knüpft die letzte Kapitel an, die genau das nächste Prozess der Aufhebung des zweiten Pfeilers der Rentensparung analysiert. Am Ende meiner Arbeit werden die gewonnene Kentnisse allgemein gemacht und die Überlegung über die Erfolgsamkeit der Einführung einer Fondfinanzierung in das tschechische Rentensystem. Legislation for assessing medical conditions in social security

The aim of this work is primarily to provide a clear and systematic description of various social security benefits granted on the basis of medical conditions assessed by an examining physician for the medical review service in terms of substantive and procedural law. The introductory chapters deal with the legal basis for social security and medical reviews at international and national levels, as well as the historical development of health assessments, which has an impact on the shape of existing legislation. The division of the entire social security system into its three basic subsystems is described in a chapter laced with discussions about individual benefits, which this thesis takes up. They include care allowance, mobility allowance, special aid allowance, and disability pensions. Also analyzed here is the entitlement to the certificate of disability, which is also provided on the basis of an evaluation of the applicant's medical condition by the examining doctor. The second part puts primary emphasis on the medical review service and the person of the examining physician. Legal framework of healthcare and its financing

The issue of legal framework and healthcare affect each of us; we're all elements of health care system. Health care and its financing are discussed more and more intensively. Increasing pressure on economical spending of funds selected for the purposes of the general health insurance. Acceleration of the development of science and technology should improve the responsibility of each of us. I tried to point out some important issues from the perspective of the on-going changes in the health-care legislation. It is also one of the main reasons why I chose the topic "LEGAL FRAMEWORK OF HEALTH CARE AND ITS FINANCING. The aim of thesis is especially to highlight the legal ground and other relevant documents, which provide health care in the Czech Republic, and to carry out their analysis in the light of the on-going legislative changes. In separate chapters then in more details I describe the financing of health care and financial participation of patients, public health insurance schemes and providing of health care. I tried to make a comparative analysis of the legislation on health care and health systems of the European Union members as well. In conclusion, I propose that we must insist on completing the current reform of health care in the light of the domestic and foreign developments.

Pension insurance in the Czech Republic

The purpose of the theses is an analysis of the Czech pension system. The paper is mainly focused on recent Czech pension scheme legislation with special attention to the old age pension. It describes in detail the second pillar of the pension scheme introduced by 1 January 2013 allowing participants to opt-out of state pension insurance and saving according to individual pension plans. The paper also explains changes in legislation that affect the third pillar - subsidized pension saving. The thesis result is a description of the pension scheme legislation in the Czech Republic effective from the beginning of 2013.

Family policy in Italy

This thesis is focused on the analysis of the family policy in Italy. After briefly describing the characteristic features and developement of the Italian welfare state and the family policy, there will be analyzed a series of the relevant legislative changes in that field. The next parts deal with demographic trends and changing forms of Italian families. The following parts describe particular measures that are used by the state, regions or municipalities to support families in Italy. The final part contains brief conclusions about the Italian familialistic model and its sustainability and proposes recommendations for improvement.

The disability pensions

This theses focuses on disability pensions in Czech republic. It explores historical development of legislation related to this type of social benefit and it also anylyzes current state of legislation. It investigates proces which follows after handing in the application and assessment of health condition and also forms of appeal. The text of the thesis then concerns with Medical Assessment Service, which provides assessment of health for purposes of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Medical Assessment Service deals with long-term problems with organization. The thesis reports on related studies of possible reorganization of Medical Assessment Service which were requested by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The issue is also analyzed from ombudsman's point of view.

Sickness insurance, development and conception

Summary: Sickness insurance, its development and concept The diploma paper is focused on addressing the area of legal regulations concerning sickness insurance, its development and concept. The reason to choose this topic is undoubtedly my personal interest in this issue. The paper is divided into six chapters. Chapter one addresses history of the welfare system and the sickness insurance from the very beginning of mankind up to the current applicable legislation. Chapter two is devoted to the sickness insurance system, describes its difficult legislative process and outlines the overall characteristics of individual sick pays. Chapter three describes the health assessment for insurance purposes. Chapter four addresses the organization and implementation of sickness insurance. Chapter five describes international and supranational organizations, as the basic orientation in legal documents of the international community is necessary for understanding and examination of the legislation. Chapter six focuses on several European countries in order to highlight the legal diversity in various states. In conclusion of my diploma paper, I compare the previous legislation to the current legislation and I evaluate the goals that I had set in the beginning work.

Disablement pensions

Disablement pensions (Invalidity benefits) - Resumé As I am interested in the situation of disabled people and the ability of the community to take care properly of these needy people I decided to write a thesis on the subject of disablement pensions (or invalidity benefits). The aim of this thesis was to give a reader an overview of how different countries regulate the conditions under which invalidity benefits are provided. At the same time I would like to describe in detail and evaluate above named national legislations in the same structure, if possible. The first chapter deals with historical aspects. After the origins of social security are mentioned, I already focus on the historical development of invalidity benefits' legislation in european and czech context. The next chapter is an analysis of invalidity benefits at the international level. Especially the achievements of the International Labour Organization, the Council of Europe and the European Union in the field of disablement pensions are highlighted. It is completed by a brief description of bilateral agreements on social security. The third chapter, which is the largest one included in this thesis, examines the czech legislation regarding the invalidity benefits. Food Position and habits in the group of second grade students and students of high school in Táborsko

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of children's and adolescent's eating habits at the second level of elementary and secondary schools in Tábor and its surroundings. The theoretical part defines the basic nutrients, the principles of healthy nutrition and specifics of children's and adolescent's nutrition. Also defines basics of diets, alternative dietary lifestyles and risks related to eating habits (eating disorders). In the practical part the research in two elementary and two high schools with total respondents of (n=349) is done. The results are compared across the sex of the respondents and their studied schools.
