Monitoring ozone, nitrogen dioxide, nitrous and nitric and sulphur dioxide within the east part of the Mediterranean Sea
Večeřa, Zbyněk ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Smolík, Jiří ; Eleftheriadis, K. ; Bryant, C. ; Colbeck, I. ; Lazaridis, M.
The aim of the boat campaign was to measure the gaseous nitrogen reactive species of nitrogen, ozone and sulphur dioxide over the Aegean Sea within the period 25-29 July 2000.
The Effect of Various Activities on Indoor Particle Concentrations
Smolík, Jiří ; Ždímal, Vladimír ; Schwarz, Jaroslav
The contribution describes experimental study of effect of various activities at home (ccoking, venting, smoking, burning of candles or incentives) on indoor particle concentrations. Dynamics of individual size fractions in size range 3-20.000 nm is studied using system of instruments NanoSMPS, SMPS, and APS.
Vliv uspořádání vstupní sekce na tvorbu ZrO2 nanočástic tepelným rozkladem zirkonium terc-butoxidu v průtočném trubkovém reaktoru
Moravec, Pavel ; Smolík, Jiří ; Levdansky, V.V. ; Keskinen, H. ; Mäkelä, J. M.
In this work we present more comprehensive study of the particle generation from ZTBO with special emphasis on the influence of inlet section arrangement on formation and characteristics of particles.
Robustní odhad rozdělení velikostí částic atmosférických aerosolů pomocí gnostické teorie
Wagner, Zdeněk ; Ždímal, Vladimír ; Smolík, Jiří
A new approach using gnostic theory of uncertain data is applied to analysis of particle size distribution in atmospheric aerosols. The properties of the gnostic kernel, derived from theory, is demonstrated. Enhancement of gnostic theory, which allows robust kernel estimation of the distribution function as well as the bounds of the data support, is explained.
