A Proposal and Optimization of Cutting Conditions for Turning of a Cemented Workpiece
Heiserová, Sofia ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kouřil, Karel (advisor)
This final thesis is aimed at optimalisation of hard turning process of cemented workpiece. First part is focused on the study of factors of hard turning. In the second part the work deals with the proposal and conduction of experiments of new cutting parameters in chosen factory. The durability of cutting edges is monitored. This monitoring is based on the evolution of roughness of machined workpieces. Based on the data evaluation, the best cutting edge is selected and used for final optimalisation experiments. Production cost of operational section is calculated for each alternative of cutting parameters in the third part of the thesis. Possible savings were calculated based on the number of machined pieces per year for the cutting edge that was found to have the best results.
Suggestion for rationalization of injection mould part production
Kamenická, Eva ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with suggestion for rationalization of production of an injection mould cavity plate and of a part responsible for cooling of the final plastic product. The main objective is to reduce the production time while meeting the high requirements for dimensional and geometric accuracy and surface integrity of the manufactured parts. The thesis starts with a theoretical analysis of the production of mould parts. This is followed by an analysis of the initial state of production, which consists of the characteristics of the previously mentionned manufactured parts, the available production means and a description of the original technological process. The experimental part of the thesis explains the procedures and justifies the choices made in the creation of new programmes within the CAM software Cimatron. Several possible variations of tools and cutting parameters have been experimentally tested and their final choice is justified in the thesis. The output of the thesis is a new manufacturing process for the production of both components, which has been applied in practice and evaluated on the basis of the results of testing the quality of the components and the plastic product itself. In the conclusion of the thesis can be found an evaluation of the output of the thesis and a time comparison of the previous process with the new suggestion. All experiments and measurements, including the production of the components themselves, were carried out in the toolroom of ITW PRONOVIA, s.r.o. in Veľká Bíteš, which is also the creator of the topic of this thesis.
On the cutting performance analysis of milling tools for a selected application.
Němeček, Lukáš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis is devided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with types of milling, the choice of the cutters, choice of material of exchangeable cutting plates and also with types of wear and their classification. The second part of the thesis deals with experiments where the power load of the tool was measured. The observed data were processed and graphs of power load were created by software. Conclusions are based on these graphs.
Solution production technology of part "laparoscopy instrument´s jaw" on a CNC machine
Pospíchal, Oldřich ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis submitting a proposal for the production of components of the laparoscopic instrument machined on CNC machine. Based on the analysis of components of design, technological and material aspects, is developed technological process of production, processed technological documentation, compiled and verified NC program for the CNC machining center. The thesis compares manual and automated programming, evaluates manufacturing of jaws and assesses possible monthly production capacity of one machine.
A proposal and manufacturing of temporary dental restoration
Jiroušek, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with manufacturing of temporary dental restoration. Theoretical part contains an overview of types of dental restorations and their division, Furthermore it states important properties and division of the dental materials used nowadays. The next point of theoretical part is an overview of the technologies of dental restorations manufacturing used at present. Practical part is aimed at manufacturing of temporary dental restoration by using the digitization by intraoral scanning, design of restoration in CAD software and CAD/CAM manufacturing. The thesis is concluded with discussion comprising a summary and evaluation of the results of single steps from practical part.
Manufacture of optical mirrors for high-frequency antenna
Muzikant, Dušan ; Bumbálek, Bohumil (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with problems with manufacturing of high frequency elliptic and hyperbolic optic mirrors, which makes one of the most important functional parts of parabolic satellites made for biggest and highest placed international astronomical radio-telescope in the world - ALMA, which is built on Chajnantor plateau in Chille in South America. Individual chapters are designed in the flow of technological process of manufacturing, containing theoretical and practical analysis of the problems. Content of the thesis leads especially to description and clarification of individual causes of problems during manufacturing.
The comparison of 3D printing technologies and the subsequent production of a component
Čuma, Zdeněk ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The objective of the thesis is a comparison of 3D printing technologies. The essence of 3D printing is described and its individual methods are analyzed in the first part. The second part is focused on the construction of a real component – a suction branch. Other practical parts focus on the production of the component itself using various 3D technologies and subsequent comparison of the printed models.
Application of CAD/CAM technology for production of presentation paperweight
Bukovský, Petr ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of the presentation paperweight production. For the production model Autodesk Inventor CAD software and PowerMill v. 6.0 CAM software were used. The paperweight was manufactured using the FV 25 CNC milling machine.
On the optimization of machining process of the rotary part
Benda, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysing component manufacture of valve lines. Firstly evaluating current condition of production including determinated manufacture times and costs. Secondly carrying out inmprovement proposals for manufacture and optimalisation of cutting conditions while considering the minimal costs given for operation sections. The final provision summarizes results which were achieved and overall benefits of the thesis.
Design of Stirling Engine Operating at Low Temperature Difference
Gavač, Adam ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this study is to acquaint the reader with the Stirling engine, which is one of the possible alternatives to generally known combustion engine. The theoretical part has three major purposes: First is to describe thermodynamics of the Stirling cycle in the range that is essential for comprehension of the engine`s operating principle. Second is to mathematicaly derivate expression for the efficiency of the ideal Stirling cycle. Third is to discuss each of the essential parts of the device. Concepts acquired in the theoretical part were employed to design a digital model in the parametric modeler Autodesk Inventor. Parts were manufactured by a combination of typical and progressive technologies. Engine was assembled and tested afterwards.
